I made this little collage of the four gnomes from Heroes of Sprocketshire I've completed so far. I still have to finish the Mad Scientist and he's got base colours down thus far.

Thank you so much. I have to tell you though that I didn't freehand the design on the tunic. It was part of the sculpt and a right pain in the arse to paint too!

I seem to have this uncanny ability to take figures that should be "dark" and make them into happy little creatures. I'm working on a couple of figures for someone else and they are going to be properly gritty.

I mean it's not a problem. It's nice to see an evil Deathknight being well fed and looked after by his boss.

 

Not to mention it's important for everyone to be happy in their job :)

Anne, what are you using for the leafy, mossy effect on your bases? I love the look, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.

Excellent work. I really like the overall portrayal of DK by Stonehaven. I don't care for the ears on their gnomes though.

You definitely have a knack for paint jobs that are colorful and adorable, and combined with the inherent cuteness of these guys it's just wonderful. I'm going to have to go back and look at the first two and the WIPs. (Kickstarter made me miss the painting that was going on, apparently!)
