Where did all the mini kickstarters go?

Kickstarter at least has the ability to keep you in cool stuff, even when your life has changed and your no longer able to afford all the new toys.

Agree. Especially helpful when dealing with local family members who think your money is their money when their utility bills come around.  And also helps with those friends circles who think cash on hand is a communal pool and the brokest one is always suggesting ordering pizza,.

After Dwarven Forge Caverns I am putting the stops on for a while (I hope).   Until I see some serious fulfillment on all the stuff I am waiting for I am not going to overextend myself.  At least I need to have more fulfilled Kickstarters than unfulfilled.  I'm getting impatient about overdue stuff.

And when I do back any more, if I do, it will only be with Kickstarters that have proven they fulfill on time.  Those will be the ones that get my attention again.

I know it's a little off topic (and personal), but people like that are toxic and I strongly suggest removing them from your life.  There's a big difference between a loyal friend who needs a helping hand, and a vampiric deadbeat who does nothing but take from you.

 Well said,

If I can't contribute to buying the food I'd at least offer to cook (and clean up afterwards), suggesting we 'all' get takeaways would be right out

It is very quiet at the moment, I'm now only backing one project (evil ponies), because I want the guy to succeed.

I deploy with the army for six months this Friday so it's probably time to step away from Kickstarter for a while, Lord knows the metal mountain is big enough

You will be missed, Beagle. Come home safe!

I'm not backing any right now (and haven't spotted any upcoming ones to back).

Part of its just me getting a lot more picky, part of it is a "mountain waiting to come" and part is having been burned on a couple (EFS x 2, Otherworld)

Speaking of Otherworld, I still haven't heard anything. You got an email didn't you Kay?

Could well have been.  I'll give it another week then start making noise again.

ED: I get a suspicion they don't like us making noise.  I got two comments deleted on facebook by otherworld!

Seeing your customers as the enemy means you're doing something very wrong.

Take care Beagle. Be a good doggie and maybe you'll get to ride with your head out the window while you're away

Thanks. Off today. Hopefully the British army still have computers that will allow me to keep an eye on the boards, although given the size of recent cuts I half expect to be given a broom handle and WW2 surplus fatigues when I clock in.

Well I hope you do get to keep an eye on the boards and catch the hijinks we get up to while you're away.

Also. My spellchecker tried to change hijinks to bikinis. It really makes me wonder what the programmers of these things get up to.
