Instead of walking around in circles and getting blisters, gamers play a marathon weekend of games, video, tabletop, larp, whatever floats their boat. My hubby and I signed up with the Trion team to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital (you can pick your hospital), and will be playing Defiance all weekend (when we aren't being booted from the game ). As of yesterday they had raised over $3 million Trion Worlds, the team I signed up with, raised over $63K of that. I managed to raised $85, which was more than I expected (thanks Mom!). It was a very tired weekend, to be sure, but it was fun.
