It's the floor of the diner on the map tile :) I got to paint day, looked at the tile and cursed myself because rushing out the door I grabbed the paint I used for Doug's base instead of the diner colors. So I made do with what I had and it worked out ok. I also roughed in the lines and promptly proclaimed myself nuts for freehanding a checkerboard pattern...twas not easy!

It's the blood splatter on the floor in front of her that I love the most.

They're footprints, that's what's on the map tile in the diner. They look a bit small in the pics, I thought they were properly sized when I painted them...might have to tweak them when I do the blood bath stage (I will probably toss a couple buckets of blood after I finish up all the survivors).

 

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm glad you like her. She was fun and as usual for me, educational. Red Violet makes a nice shade tone for pink!

 

+3 points to Kuro for correct chainsaw identification. I was tempted to try freehanding in the logo...had it sketched out that way.

Ah! I hadn't spotted them as being footprints - I also thought it was blood spatter. I think it's primarily the angle of the photo - I'm sure it probably looks just like the map when viewed properly from above.
