I have the Happy Seppuku texture stamps coming and the planking stamp does a nice job of getting the texture of planking but using the random scatter technique will make it look more natural than any straight painting I can do.

That combined with my weathering technique as used with the Marvel Golems could make for some really sharp looking bases.

Or shields. Just mask the rest of the figure and flick paint at the shield front. Drag, dry, and repeat with a different color.

I'm sure there are many other uses for the concept. Perhaps a stone face. Hmmm. Might have to try that on the diorama.

That's the intent. The Kickstarter should actually be shipping soon. I got the last update (11/14) on KS that they were waiting to get the last few responses before shipping.

We are in the final bit of boxing up pledges to ship.

I'll check their site when I get mine and report.

Hmm...note to self: bring GS to January Paint Day :)

I brought a large amount of it to November's but you were doing the Zombicide stuff.

On topic of sorts ...

I am going to have two planked 40mm bases I used for the Marvel Golems left and the Happy Seppuku stamp soon.

If anyone is interested in the weathered wood with moss and algae look I did on the golems, I may do a tutorial for it.

And I definitely will be seeing what I can accomplish with the texture and the above technique on a stamped base.
