I was just checking the preview section to get another look at that water elemental and there are four new miniatures from "Deadlands Noir." A quick google search seems to indicate that this is a RPG set in 1930s New Orleans. Pretty neat stuff:

It also does seem to be linked to the old Deadlands RPG and CCG, just in its "future," so to speak. Neat stuff.

I was kind of wondering about these. I got them with the Deadlands Noir Kickstarter. Didn't seem to make much sense just making them for the Kickstarter.

That makes a whole heck of a lot of sense. They already produced these for the KS, eh? Very cool.

Both the paint jobs and the sculpts are awesome, I agree. I particularly like the scientist (Diesel-Punk, I guess? It's not Victorian, more like roaring 20s,) and the Houngan.

Noir!

Well, the scientist still has a "punk" feel to me, but Steam-Punk isn't quite right. An actual Noir scientist would be wearing a cheap suit or a lab coat and probably have a nervous shake from his drug habit. :)

I agree that the Noir minis are pretty cool, and Wren's mono/duochrome color schemes are splendidly fabulous!

However, what really caught my eye was Narthrax in all his/her painted glory. I was already super duper with a cherry on top excited about this sculpt, but now?

I'm starting to wonder whether I should order another one. Or five. Cuz of the awesome. ::D:

Huzzah!
