Way into stretch goals after a couple days...

They did a Reddit AMA right away too and I'm a bit worried about the game play. They are still testing and finishing up the rules when they have already launched a KS. It looks like part of the game is while you run a bosses level the other players play cards against you as the enemy. I worry that will just degrade into the same terrible gameplay as Munchkin where everyone saves up their good cards to always throw at the person in the lead. So it just drags on and on and on with everyone knocking down the leader.

 

But to be fair, I haven't read all the rules yet.

I don't think they are pre-painted. In fact I think that's a stretch goal.

Yeah, I see that now. With a month left, however, it will probably make the $500,000 needed to have painted minis.

 

Also, I'm a little hesitant to drop $130 to get all the stretch goals.

 

This DOES look pretty awesome, however, and I'll have to have a serious discussion with my bank wife about it.

I have never played a Mega Man game (and I grew up with the NES, so no excuses of being a young n00blet).

 

Everything I know about Mega Man comes from Bob and George, which probably isn't the best source...

They released a game play video. Unless I'm not "getting" something, the game looks terrible. Overly complicated, clunky and too much randomness.
