Moderator Chaoswolf Posted December 28, 2013 Moderator Share Posted December 28, 2013 Your first mini looks about a million times better than my first one. Have you ever had any art training or anything? You're producing some really fine work for 2 months of experience. I can see you producing some really stunning pieces in a very short amount of time if you keep at it!

Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted December 28, 2013 Moderator Share Posted December 28, 2013 I bet your colouring books as a kid were amazing. Seriously though your work is quite nice. Not typical beginner work. You've obviously an eye and the touch for this.

Slendertroll
Wow, great work! If I had to pick something to criticize, it would be that your blends (color transitions) could stand to be a little bit smoother, but I think the slightly blocky look you have now actually looks pretty cool. Almost cell-shaded. I'd also strongly suggest you pick up Reaper's Learn To Paint Kit 3, which deals with non-metallic metals, since it looks like that's what you're trying to go with for a number of these. You have some pretty good instincts about where things should go, but a little help would really push it up a notch into pretty realistic-looking territory, and the LTPKs are by all accounts fantastic.

Mutilatedlips
Those D&D minis are what actually started me painting. Yours are looking really nice.
