Random question:

 

Convention planning season is upon us, and I am drawing up my schedule for 2015. Do any of y'all plan to attend any of the local events?

 

I have already submitted events for TotalCon, and I plan to GM for Paizo at PAX. It'd be cool to see some NEMPA representation

I will be at CTcon. Might try to make it up to Boston this year... I'd love to do PAX, but transportation and lodging make it too complicated.

PAX is pretty awesome, but I'll admit I probably wouldn't have gone if Reaper hadn't been handling transportation and lodging (I helped out at the Paint and Take one year).

I will probably not be going to PAX East this year - I've been every year and the amount of fun I have had has steadily decreased.  I'd consider helping out vendors, but don't know anyone who's looking for help.  I'd consider going to other cons, but unfortunately "con season" and "no motorcycle season" have a large amount of overlap.

This may no longer be accurate (it was about four years ago), but ReaperBryan and Ladystorm handled most of the arrangements. In my case, they contacted me presumably due to being ex-Black Lightning; certainly couldn't hurt to message them and let them know you're willing to volunteer.

 Until I resolve my job situation, I have no plans to go anywhere - although since my Rocky Horror cast is performing at Arisia, TempleCon, Total Confusion and TerrorCon there's an unspecified greater-than-zero chance I may randomly show up to any of those, but I'm personally not counting on it. Assuming I get a job in a resonable amount of time, I'm tentatively going to be at either ConnectiCon, RI ComicCon, and/or both.

 

 Honestly, though, any and all spare change I may acquire this year is going towards gettin me arse down to NYC in September for the 40th Anniversary Rocky Horror Picture Show Convention...

I'm going to try and make it to Total Con and the con in Nashua (OG con?).  Probably will only do PaxEast if Reaper needs booth help.

I probably won't go to PAX East, I was only interested in going to a reaper booth there anyway and at the moment don't know if there is one or if it will be on a day I could go.  But, it is only 20 minutes from my house and if people will be there I'd love to meet up.  I've been to lots of technical conventions for work but so far only one day of PAX East last year for gaming conventions.
