Well, gentlemen (and lady), it's been confirmed - I just spoke to Pat, and he's good with March 1st...

We probably won't be able to hang around after closing (6pm) as long as the last time, but we're good to go.

Also, Pat got his MSPs in, and has everything including the sealer, primer, flow improver and drying retarder.

This sounds like a lot of fun, but 2 hours (plus the inevitable traffic) is a long haul.  Is there interest in doing something similar further north, in the Boston metro area? I'm new to painting and the Boston area so I'd love to meet and see how other people paint. As for a location, I haven't been to many game shops yet.  There is a place that does lots of miniatures in Malden (5 mi north of Boston, Hobby Bunker) but they haven't been real outgoing the few times I've been in there.

Hey, just out of curiosity - what is the price on the paints? I'm trying to pull together a list of them to buy - does he have pretty much everything, or just a bit?

Also, can any of you reccommend me some good greens? I only have Christmas Wreathe, so I could use a few more, I think. The green I wound up buying last time turned out to be an ink(?), so... not sure what I'm gonna do with that...

Actually, I found traffic to be pretty light last time, even driving straight through the center of Providence. Even so, it is a bit of a drive.

I play games at the Hobby Bunker once in a while. It's an OK space for the job, but scheduling events can be tricky. On the up side, it is T-accessible, and parking is pretty easy on the weekends.

I ran one painting event at Pandemonium Books, in Cambridge, last year, and I might try to set up another, but scheduling there is next to impossible. If I get it set up, I will announce it here, but no promises.

I think MSRP is $3.29.

I like the "Brilliant Greens" triad, but I like to have all the paints. ::):
