Popular Post Mutilatedlips
I posted a diorama here a few weeks back, but it was never meant to be permanent. I was finally able to remove them all from the diorama and base them all. They are a team to me now and tried to keep the bases simple and matching. Deathsleet's base took me a lot longer and I'm pretty happy with it. Diorama link here if you are interested. I hope you enjoy. Metalchaos
Good work on the bases. It's nice to be able to see them individually to appreciate all the details. I like the way you painted Dhulrekk's shield. I've also painted this Dwarf lately but I still need to work on his base.
ShadowRaven
did you find a way to base that wall of water effect as well?
Corporea
I second the basing of the cool wall of water! That would totally be awesome for games! I love your style- nice crisp details and bright vibrant colors. Great job!!
ATOM
Nice work, very well done. The detailing is great.
ub3r_n3rd
Great job re-basing them on their own. I also think it'd be awesome to base your water effect if you can, especially if you play TTRPG's and use your figures for PCs/NPCs.
Mutilatedlips
Thanks everybody! I did try to do something with the water wall effect, unfortunately nothing really worked for me. I was trying to glue it underneath Ezren and bend it out and upwards to be glued to his outstretched hand. It was too strong to bend and I didn't want to risk the glue not working on his hand. I never really thought about basing the water wall itself. Grrrrrr....should have done that. It was time consuming to make, but not terribly difficult, so in future I may make another. I'm glad you all liked it.
Malgus
love the debossing (or is it embossing, can't remember) on the dorf shield!
Sanael
I really, really like your color selection on these. They look great, especially the dwarf! I'd like to see some bluish white on just the outermost tips of the dragon scales, something very bright to make those edges stand out a bit more. More contrast is rarely a bad plan. That said, Deathsleet looks properly fearsome as she stands. Nice stuff.
Fremen
Great stuff, thanks for sharing these! My favorite is the dwarf, and the perfectly ferocious face you captured. Well done!
