Warwick
Well, well, isn't this interesting. Vampires or Mercs?
Shakandara
Classes and games are less than an hour from going live; please remember to purchase three (3) tickets for the Warlord tournament, in the slots you wish to play. DO NOT PURCHASE MORE THAN 3. You will have the opportunity throughout the con, if there are available seats at the tables, to sit and play extra games. However, we need each player to register for a maximum of 3 slots at this time. ~v
Qwyksilver
I might have to brush up on my rules.
Bonwirn
I might have to brush up on my rules. I might actually have to play a few games before I arrive...
Dilvish the Deliverer
Debating on signing up for the tourney. I've only ever played one game so not sure if I have a good enough grasp of the rules. What are the chances that tables/opponents will be available for pickup games?
Shakandara
Opponents is easy; table space may be hard to come by, however. Any time that the tournament tables are not full with participants, we'll try to have demo games available (small armies provided). We can probably extend that availability to pickup games as well, but imagine as the con progresses (and more people arrive), free seats will be harder to come by. Try to sneak in a pickup game early, if you can. I don't know how early we'll have access to set-up, so I don't want to promise anything, but if we can get the tables Thursday morning, and get the terrain set up on them, we might be able to let people play pickup games on them pre-con. That is a huge series of "ifs", however; please don't bank on that being your chance to play, unless I can confirm otherwise between now and then. ~v
Dilvish the Deliverer
Well, I am flying in on Wednesday, so if you need help setting up, let me know. I'll look at putting together a couple armies anyway, in case I decide to jump in with both feet and give a few people some easy wins (or crush their chances with the dreaded "beginner's luck"). Shakandara
I'm also willing to give a crash-course in Warlord Wednesday night after dinner while we're all relaxing at the hotel. I'm sure we can find some kind of surface to play on, even if it is a coffee table in the lobby... ~v
MiniCannuck
My gaming group is running another game at the con (How the West was Eaten) but when I'm not needed there, I'd be happy to do demos of Warlord. Warlord is fun skirmish game that allows you to really enjoy amazing Reaper miniatures on the battlefield. Anyway I can spread the love, I'm glad to do. Qwyksilver
My armies will be easy to spot. They will be legal, and half painted, lucky to be assembled, ugly as sin monstrosities
Pole
I would so love to learn to play Warlord. Will there be anywhere at the convention this year to learn to play?I know that I have at least one friend who will be with me that wants to learn as well. One day I would love to actually play in the tournament!

wildbill
Ah-ha! I now have a hotel reservation for Friday through Saturday of the con! Now if I can only get my login to work so I can actually buy tickets to attend the con, that would be sweet.
wildbill
Wild Bill is now serving notice to all of those wanna-be Warlord players out there that he is now officially registered for the tournament! A brand new army has been specially designed and purchased to meet this year's ReaperCon theme, the Wild West. You peeps are going to have to work hard to beat my epic awesomeness. The time slots I chose are 4 and 9 PM on Friday evening and 11 AM on Saturday morning. Those seemed to best suit my needs. If I find myself available during another tournament slot with nary a thing to do, and there happens to be an odd player out, then I would be happy to step in and play an extra game. But, we will have to cross that bridge if it comes. So, all that remains now is for Shakandara to get off of his butt and post those scenarios!!
