Okies. Download the app for your image hosting server - I use flickr and photobucket both - and then use the app to upload. Easy peasy.

 

I'd recommend flickr's app, I've found it easiest to use.

 

OK, I already had ImageShack. They too have an app. ( Thank you for all the pointers. ) Got the app. Giving this a whirl:

 

 

A lot of people, in another thread, were lamenting the lighting in the display space for the entries. My cell phone seemed to be OK with it. I don't think it used flash. But it just kinda did what it wanted.

 

 

Also Edited to Add: The official contest photos page credits this to Tish Wolter, titled: King Henry the VIII; it won a Gold.  (I sure cannot paint like this.)

The painting contest was FULL of -censored censored- and magnificence.  It's very easy to be humbled looking at what people enter.  But then when you talk to them and get advice and words of encouragement (you have to walk the artist tables and talk to them) much of that goes away because everyone is quite friendly and WANT you to get better and share experiences.

I've an idea of what I'm going to go for.  Sock puppet insult comic is a go.  Probably a green sock with button eyes, and maybe some "hair" or tentacles.  I myself will be a space bum.  A sci-fi vagabond.  A wandering storyteller of the stars.  I shall put out my hat and tell stories.

 

Now I just have to figure out what a space bum should look like...

Sweaty/Dirty clothes...yes. Ironically though this puts you in the "that smelly guy @ the con" position.

Back in the Cosplay, general question. 

 

Sayyyy if someone were to dress up like Lumpy Space Princess, would it be considered Sci-Fi ?

 

I mean..she's a space princess from a show about the after effects of fall out and survival.........and it would give me a reason to annoy the Mr with muh Lumpy voice.
