Er. Just to be clear, I am somewhat more matronly than the model in question.

 

It's like the time I made the Von Pinn costume. My husband and kids got a kick out of it, so I didn't worry too much.

Still, I peruse Christmas ornaments.

Once, I ran across this amazing Christmas tree ornament. I looked at it, and thought, "Mighod, it's perfect. It is the ultimate ray gun. All I'd need to do is attach a pistol grip or stock, and it would be a thing of ultimate beauty. I wouldn't even have to paint it!"

Regrettably, it was made of thin glass... and priced a bit steep.

I have been hunting for its plastic equivalent ever since.

I need a lavender petticoat, lavender blouse and that's one outfit down. Lavender shoes that I can glitterfy if its in our budget. I have 1 out of 2 needed corsets. My purple filligre one and I just need a plain red one for a star trek outfit.

Dollar stores will be your friend in this quest. You may have to buy a pack of 20 ( not goblin math in this case) ornaments to get the one you need, but you can always give the rest to Froggy to make you cool space stations out of.
