Darkrelease
Thanks Kit, once again you have alleviated the shakes for another week. Love those Bugbears and that acid spitter should be fun to paint.

Enchantra
For some reason this batch of greens doesn't impress me as much.
Painfully
The wardog has more of a cute factor going for it. It is NOT a wardog. A wardog would have a spiked collar and be barking and snarling and drooling all at the same time. And if it had a leash, it would be held by somebody strong and fighting to keep the dogs back. That would be a wardog. The bugbears are cool, but I got too many unpainted ones already. None of the other stuff really looks all that interesting to me. Feverdreams
The wardog has more of a cute factor going for it. It is NOT a wardog That is cute? Do you see the teeth on that thing? Wardogs are well trained animals, not slavering rabid beasts. They are as well trained perhaps as any soldier. Check them out! Wardogs I digress though. I think it is still pretty intimidating, but that is just my own opinion. Cheers! Adam
Lars Porsenna
I dunno...those bugbears definitely kick booty (better than the original set, IMHO), and that Wardog is toooo cute NOT to buy! Damon.
Lars Porsenna
IIRC Bulldogs were originally bred to BE wardogs; their ability to bite and grip would serve them well in this purpose. Memory shady here, but I believe they were bred sometime around WWI for use in trenches... Damon.
red5angel
what cracks me up is I have still not seen a rottweiler wardog mini. They were used to guard caravans and the like and used in war by the roman empire.....
Mengu
I'm in the process of painting the older bugbears. I was thinking I'd buy another pack to make it a more "sizable" encounter, and maybe use them for the Horde (since I already have the bugbear shaman painted). Now I'll just wait for these guys to come out. I'm happy
Lars Porsenna
I don't think I've EVER heard of Romans using dogs in battle; do you have any citations? Damon.
