Yeah. Sadly life threw us a curve ball at the last minute otherwise we'd have crossed into Texas by now.

However, for those of you lucky enough to be there here are some sneak peeks at the table for How the West Was Eaten:

Whether you're playing or not, feel free to drop by the table, it really is a sight to see when it's all put together.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took the time either to play our game or offer some positive words about the work we did on our table.  We had an amazing time running this game for you and hope you felt the same.

In fact, I think you made a Reaper convention goer out of Brad.  He has already shown me designs of spaceships that he wants me to build for next year's game.  His idea is to run 2 tables at the same time with a large spaceship on either one.  We would then have 28mm scale shuttle crafts that would run between the two tables.

All I can say is that if this is going to happen, our friend Dan Goodchild has to drive down again.  I can't handle transporting gaming terrain in my suitcases anymore!  It is much too stressful.

You all made it great. As you can tell, we like mixing role playing in with our miniatures games. I loved the stories you told. Especially the time when Bedlam got tired of Miss Melons character and picked her up to get inside the building. It was such a great character moment.

I was afraid I'd get into the building and she'd use the Scream ability to drag me back OUT!

So I asked if there were any rules prohibiting me from picking up another model and carrying it with me. It seems there were not.

A cooperative pair of players could clean up like that-- one player could theoretically get a double move every turn!

"I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay,
I sleep all night, and I work all day!"

(chorus)

"I hack up zombies and run like hell,
And I fish them out of the wishing well!"

(chorus)

"I cross the bridge and run for the mill,
And meet the ambush with a one-hit kill!"

(chorus)

"Outnumbered, I flee by the by-and-by,
And snag Miss Melons, on the fly!"

LOL - I loved the story that developed between the characters in this game.  You all are definitely very weird people!

BTW, I absolutely adore weird people :;):

I can't wait to see what you do next year when we give you space shuttles to fly between two tables!  I have a feeling that you may invade Castlebuilder's games with them!
