In Ghent, was that the Red Baron club?

I honestly don't remember the name of the club. There was a small mixed gaming shop on the Kortrijksepoortstraat that had a flyer in the window about a RPG club. It had an address saying that they meet on Wednesdays. I went the following week and they threw me right into a LoTR game. I think the meeting place was somewhere near the Inktvis student cafe. After a month or so a group invited me to join their home games and we started the Warhammer Fantasy "The Enemy Within" campaign. Epic stuff.

I vaguely remember a game shop there, but I think the Red Barons were at the Overpoortstraat. And to be honest I only lived in Gent until the late 80's so maybe the scene had changed.

(But I did live on the Kortrijkse Steenweg, near the station, so we're not compete strangers :B): )

Back on topic: why is the poor Medusa in a separate box? No space left in the Guildmaster box? :poke:

I chucked out the plastic tray that held the different counters, which will go in the main box, and found enough space for Elysia.

Edit again: @CorallineAlgae : Way! My gaming group was in Aalst (30km east) and I studied in Brussels so I never really made contact with the Gent groups.

No way! I lived on Verdigingstraat right off of the Kortrijkse Steenweg. My flat was about a two minute walk from the station down the Kortrijksesteenweg. I took the Steenweg to school every day (Sint-Lucas Beeldende Kunst). I think the club was on Overportstraat. It's been many years sense I've been to Ghent but I definitely remember the street name much more clearly than the club name. I'd be surprised if we didn't know some of the same club members (a few were older like Pascal).

Well that's my pledge safely delivered to the UK

the minis are really nice and (from the reports from the American backer the game works well too)

my only slight quibble is the plastic coins that just look nasty (I'd have preferred a lot more metal flake to properly simulate gold, or none and using a darker flat yellow)

so now it's only those in the APAC region waiting (the EU fulfilment should be finished soon),
