EU Through Customs! Wave 2 Update! More Tile Previews!

Happy Friday everyone!

We have some more fulfillment news, wave two information, tile previews, and of course aNinja All-Stars plug at the end. ;) Let's get to it!


Wave 1 Fulfillment

US: Wave one shipping is complete!

South America: Wave one shipping is complete! It completed this week, and is coming from the US, so it is likely still in transit depending on your location.

Canada: Wave one shipping is complete!

UK: Fulfillment is still in progress.  

EU: Has left customs and is enroute to the fulfillment warehouse! It will begin shipping as soon as it arrives.

Africa: Africa is coming from the EU, please see above.

Asia: Wave 1 has been combined with Wave 2 and will ship out together. Production is done and they are in progress loading the containers!

New Zealand: NZ is being fulfilled from Asia, please see above.


Wave 2

Wave 2 production is done and products are now getting packed up and loaded on containers. Once that process is done, containers will be scheduled for ships, and then once the ship takes off we all start doing the "hurry up" dance.

As always, we will provide weekly updates all through Wave 2!

If you have not received your package or a shipping notice – DON'T PANIC – e-mail eats automated messages all the time, and packages can take a while to make it through the system.

Last week we asked for a waiting period to let packages finish moving, before contacting us about missing package. The waiting period is over! Send us all of your beautiful e-mail to [email protected] and we will work to resolve any missing items you have as quickly as possible.

EU Fulfillment in Progress! Deeproot Wolf Rider Preview!

Happy Friday!

We have a couple of key updates this week, including EU fulfillment beginning and a late packaging defect that was the cause of Wave 2 being slightly behind schedule.

Let go to the Fulfillment Wall!


Fulfillment
  • US: Wave one shipping is complete!

  • South America: Wave one shipping is complete!

  • Canada: Wave one shipping is complete!

  • UK: Wave one shipping is complete!

  • EU: Shipping is in progress. Our fulfillment center is anticipating completion by the end of next week.

  • Africa: Africa is coming from the EU, please see above.

  • Asia: Wave 1 has been combined with Wave 2 and will ship out together. The container packing is still in process. China estimates that all containers will leave by May 1. 

  • New Zealand: NZ is being fulfilled from Asia, please see above.



Wave 2

As noted in the Asia Fulfillment, the container packing is still in process. China estimates that all containers will leave by May 1. 

Those of you who have been following all of our updates have probably noticed that our initial estimate for Wave 2 shipping slipped from April 15th to May 1, and that they've been packing those containers for a couple weeks. Outrage! Why did this occur?  

Two reasons: 

1) The April 15th date was an estimate, and production ran a bit longer than anticipated.

2) We received our physical samples of the packaged dungeon tiles and discovered a defect in the packaging that caused them to break open easily during shipment, spilling their contents. Obviously, we couldn’t have such a defect, and the packaging for the tile packs needed to get a slight redesign and repackaging to fix the problem, which lost us some time as well. 

This led to all the finished Wave 2 product getting packed into the containers and then the containers having to wait for the completed Dungeon Tiles, which are now being finished and then loaded up.

As always, we will provide weekly updates all through Wave 2!

Happy Friday Explorers!

We have some exciting news today on two fronts.

Wave 2

US - Ship has made port and product is in customs. Once it is through customs we will schedule for the fulfillment house to pick it up. Then they will begin shipping. Yay!

Canada - Ship has made port and product is in customs. Once it is through customs we will schedule for the fulfillment house to pick it up. Then they will begin shipping. Yay! (Yes, I copied a pasted that line, even though they're at different ports. Egad!)

Asia - Our fulfillment center has informed us that the bulk of the packages are on their way. We are anticipating (hoping) they will have completed shipping next week.

UK - Looks like the ship has lost some time, since the estimated June 24 date. It is now expected to arrive July 1st. We will keep you up-to-date.

Europe - Your ship is currently scheduled to make port on June 26th.

Australia - We still have not received information from the shipping company on date the ship will arrive, despite frequent inquiries. We are continuing to press for information and once we have it will relay it to you.

Wish I hadn't missed this. I got the base game and upgrade deck from Amazon. Been reading through the rules and errata. It looks pretty nice. I'll have a go at it tonight with the kids. Not quite sure which expansions I should preorder. The Mistmourn Coast and Deeproot Wolf Rider packs will probably be first. I love SDE. Can't believe I missed both kickstarters.  :down:

at least you'll be able to get all the content for it (even if you have to pay full price at the soda pop store for some of it)

So very very true. I actually thanked them for that in the kickstarter using a PM. I'm soooo happy that I can get the content even though I missed the deal. 

 

You can still back their ninja all stars game late through their store. But I'm excited for my figures. I got two of the twilight knight

I am a backer of NAS but only at $1. I'm not convinced that it will be a fun and easy enough game for my kids (looks pretty complicated). Plus my daughter doesn't like the big panty shot right on the box cover. Makes her uncomfortable.

Happy 4th of July! Wave 2! Shirts!

 

 

 

 

Hello Explorers!

We hope you are all gearing up for a fun and fantastic 4th of July weekend — even if it's not a holiday for you! The office is closed today to celebrate Independance Day (US), but we couldn't miss our update. Let's get to it, I for one cannot wait for some beer and BBQ. ;)

 

Lets take a look at Wave 2.

US:  The containers arrived at the fulfillment center yesterday, so shipments should start going out next week. It may take them a couple weeks to work through them since, unlike Wave 1, most of the orders are unique and there are a lot of them.  

CA: The trucks have picked up the containers and are enroute to the fulfillment center.

UK: At port, waiting on customs clearance. 

EU: At port, waiting on customs clearance. 

Asia: Apparently, the final 20ish orders I mentioned last week were the last few because there were problems with the orders. We spent this week working with the fulfillment center on sorting out the issue. (Apparently our Asian fulfillment was cursed by ancient evils.) If you are one of the affected orders you will be receiving an email by next Tuesday with details, so we can get you your order. 

Aside from those few packages, all fulfillment coming from Hong Kong has been shipped. If you have not already received your order, it's on its way!

Australia: The container has arrived at the fulfillment center and is being unpacked. Shipments should start going out next week!

I assume this means we'll see our stuff by the end of the month. ^_^

Wave 2

First we have a "disclaimer" for the Wave 2 shipping. Unlike the first wave of shipping, which only had 3 unique items to sort, pack, and ship, the second wave of shipping has 33. Additionally, people ordered many different combinations of these items. Meaning it will take longer for the fulfillment centers to move through all of the orders. 

It also creates the unfortunate reality that more complicated shipping and receiving increases the chances of shipping errors. As the receiving at each fulfillment center is completed, we get the list of errors or missing items, and are shipping out replacements from our warehouse in Boise. Our fulfillment centers will continue shipping even as we are sending this extra product.

Finally, please don't contact the fulfillment centers, they are all third party companies, and any time they spend fielding calls is time NOT spent packing orders. If you have a question about your order, please do not hesitate to contact Soda Pop.

Okay, lets look at our regional breakdown.

US: The fulfillment center has completed unpacking the containers and have begun shipping.

Central & South America: Shipments will begin from the US facility next week.

Canada: The fulfillment center will be unpacking the containers next week, and will begin shipping afterwards.

UK: The fulfillment center has received and unpacked the containers! Shipments should begin Monday.

EU: Customs has been cleared and will arrive at the fulfillment center early next week.

Asia: The shipping errors have delayed some folks, and we have reached out to them regarding the delay. If you are in Asia or New Zealand without your order and have not heard from us, please send an email to [email protected].

Australia: Shipping is ongoing. As we mentioned before, this will take a bit of time. We will let you know once shipping is 100% complete. 


Replacement Parts

For those of you who have patiently been waiting on replacement parts for Wave 1, our stock of replacement parts will be arriving at our warehouse next week. We will begin shipping out the parts as soon they are unpacked and sorted.
