redambrosia
Has anyone said epic god types? Cause I want more awesome minis I can use as gods. I love Skadi, she's fantastic, but I'd love dwarven gods and more goddesses. (Skadi is going to be Haela Brightaxe ) Honestly, those are the only gods that need special sculpts. Elves can use normal size elves, and there's really no dragons big enough to be gods. Except Nathair Sgiathach.

Pingo
As per the OP, we are supposed to be keeping down the "Off Topic Chatter and general sillyness." I would like to see more Asian-style fantasy minis, especially female ones. Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian and Korean influenced shamans, magic-users, and clerics, possibly some elves and dwarves as well. Ninja hobbits, anyone?
Members SamuraiJack
Those would be especially useful with the Dragon Empires/Jade Regent Pathfinder stuff..
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted January 14, 2013 Moderator Share Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) I'd like Reaper to come up with their own version of a truly alien race. Something that could be used for fantasy, to surprise jaded fantasy players who've seen all the fantasy creatures before, but also as an adversary for the NOVA troops and others of that scifi ilk. To my mind, it's something that's sorely lacking. There's several space troops vs alien type games from various companies out on the market, but I don't really care for any of their alien minis. In general I don't care for the styling of GW's scifi minis. Mantic went with rats and orcs in space which is too similar to GW to suit me. Even the Strain in Seditions Wars doesn't look like an alien race so much as a genetic experiment gone bad. I dont want to stifle Reapers creativity so I'm not going to narrow it down any further than that other than to say to stay away from design types already out there. ObsidianCrane
Female Dwarf Wizard who doesn't look like a smith, robes/dress and staff or other implement would be ideal.
CashWiley
Following ladystorm's suggestion (re female minotaurs): Maybe a line of female iconics creatures. There have been a few here and there, but it would be cool to see the strong warrior women of the gnolls, bugbears, orcs, goblins, kobolds, etc. And have them strong rather than gimmicky as is often the case. Some decent half orc women, assuming because they're for PC sales. But if a party runs across a group of orcs in a dungeon, it would be nice to have a few warrior women in there. What says that minotaur the party meets in the maze is a male? For all we know the foe could be female! End monster sexism!
The Basilisk
Gotta ask for a couple girly, not repulsive male PCs again. Girly boy wizard, bishi barbarian, feminine farm boy aspiring to be a squire, scrappy young thief, etc.
dispatchdave
I'd like to see more children. There are a few fantasy-style kids, but at last count it was around 5(?); a wizard's apprentice, a cabin boy, and the kids from the townsfolk set. It'd be nice to see more fantasy-style kids; humans, orcs, gobbos, therians. With and without weapons (e.g. toy swords, hoop and stick, running, etc.); some of these could be used for dioramas, NPC's, Lost Boys (ala Peter Pan).... Moar chitlins!

Girot
What about some humanoid's wearing crystal/glass armor. Regular plate but it's been done up with a lot of animal themed parts (i.e. lion helmet with lion heads and paws, maybe a tail)? A generic 'large cat' style could work as would a dragon theme. Oooh what about a Dwarf soldier/fighter in bear themed plate?

Pingo
A workaday witch on or with a broom. All of the Reaper witches fall into the categories of "maiden" or "crone."* There aren't any "mothers." That is to say, they are either pert young things with bare legs and midriffs, or they are skinny old hags. Nobody looks like a nice lady next door witch just doing her job. Or even a plump, cheerful, elderly matronly witch. It would be nice to fill out the triad of maiden-mother-crone. * And to be fair, one fantasy iconic adventurer.
