I like your idea Thyrm, and since I decided to let one of my players have clockwork engineering skills I can have him as this wise engineer master who teaches my player new skills, etc.  Of course the Inquisition has him as one of their prisoners and the party will rescue him and the dwarf in the party will become best friends with him!

Here's a short story I wrote as introduction to the character:

I'll introduce him to the group next time they stop at the Tinkers Guild.

Enjoy.

friends. Now that some of the shock of the loss has had a chance to settle. I want to ask of you. What would you all think of a memorial painting contest in James' honor?

I wouldn't make it a contest so much as just a memorial event but I would definately be interested in participating.

*goes through his unpainted Battlemechs*

I'm sure I got one here that is worthy.  Count me in.

I would start a new thread for this, otherwise its going to be lost.

We received a call from James' widow thanking us (YOU!) for the flowers. She says they help her to know how her husband was appreciated and loved.

She has asked if anybody has any pictures of her late husband, could they send them along?

If you do, please e-mail them to me and I will take care of it.

I didn't talk with James very much on here other than a couple of conversations in the threads that come to mind with how prolific a painter he was. I was saddened to hear the news of his passing as a fellow forum member and I offer my condolences to his family and friends. I would've written sooner but I was on vacation over the last two weeks.
