Thanks for rounding up the other links.  CQ games was the coin kickstarter I was thinking of.  I rather like their doubloons.  Not that I have any idea what I'd do with a set if I had them, but I like them.

Got my coins from this today.  Overall, they're excellent.  The pictures on the Kickstarter page are very representative of what you actually get.  They're all very well designed, look wonderful, and have a satisfying heft/sound to them.  The Kickstarter price was very reasonable too (worked out to ~35 cents/coin for me, not including pouches). 

 

Other than hopelessly optimistic projections for timelines, and a few growing pains figuring out how to manage BackerKit/shipping, the Kickstarter was very well run and the creator was extremely responsive to questions/comments.  If you're interested in coins, definitely check out their website and future Kickstarters!

Yes, a fine example of how to be rather late with your kickstarter and not make everyone despise you. Mine are supposed to arrive real soon now. USPS got them yesterday, but supposedly my 2nd day priority package won't arrive until Thursday?  Hmm.  Hurry up, I wish to Scrouge McDuck swim in my fantasy coins!

Mine are here too. I think the fuss they made over getting the right boxes was wasted energy, they don't really fit well, but the coins themselves are very nice.

Got mine today. I also prefer the cloth bags to the foo leather one. They slightly jacked mine up. I had 30 of the japanese gold coins ordered and instead I got 3 japanese samplers. Other than that the coins themselves are fantastic. I got the Barbarian Gold, Pirate Gold, Steampunk SIlver, Dwarven Gold, and Japanese Gold-Silver-Bronze,

Got mine today as well. Missing the special backer coin and three sets of coins. I also noticed that the Japanese sets only had nine silver and nine cooper.

Mine finally shipped. I'm hoping they got it right. The mix-ups may have been to wanting to get them to people in time for Christmas and the port delays got them to rushing too much.
