That dragon is pretty damn awesome.  One thing though, I can barely see the eyes.  I'm not sure if it's the camera or just me, but in the image of the profile of the dragon there is so much going on with the head that it's hard to single out the eye.  Took alot of zooming for me to finally see it.

Also, that hobbit has had one too many Elevenses lol.

Thanks everyone - I'm pretty happy with the way they've turned out. Now if I can just speed up a bit, maybe I'll have a chance of getting the rest painted before the world ends... :;):

Just a few days until the webstore opens?  I have dwarves and pack horses to buy.  :D

You have a great product here.  Looking forward to giving you my money.

Hopefully! It's supposed to be next Monday... provided I can figure out Highwire's webshop templates... I'm used to coding webpages with HTML and CSS, but their 'simple' Template Editor is really confusing... fingers crossed I get it to work over the next couple of days.

The eye is there - but I probably need to brighten it a bit. It's yellow, and I think I'll have to layer some thinned-down white on it... Here's a closer look:

cheers,

I see what you did. You painted an iris which limited the amount of the sclera which is why it was so difficult for me to pinpoint. Most dragon paint jobs I've seen usually only have a solid sclera. Good on ya.

I agree with the crowd...great job on the dragon! I also would like to point out the excellent transition blending you have achieved on the dragon..very nicely done. The dwarves look ready to take him on though. Clean paint jobs on them as well and good colour choices.

I love doing WIPs. And I've got a lot projects I should finish 😊. And since there is still no progress with Barros and Tempest (this time because I'm still waiting for a new base to be shipped), why not start something new?

I've yet to paint my first dragon, so I'll use this opportunity to do it. I confess, I'm cheating a bit here, since I'm going to paint the white dragon by Dark Sword Minis - that's a very small dragon. But still, he's got wings and teeth and claws and scales, so definitely a dragon, yessir!

I absolutely love this mini. I bought it many years ago, but the horns went missing. Fortunately, when I ordered some more minis from Dark Sword a while ago, I was able to order some spare horns, so now I'm good to go.

Here he is, assembled and prepped:

Now I have to decide on a paint scheme, which I can't bring myself to do. There are three ideas I have at the moment:

paint him up as an ice dragon. I'm thinking white with pinkish/greenish undertones and a base made with transparent crackle paint. There was a very cool version of an Ice Dragon a while ago on this forum, but I can't seem to find it any more.  paint him up as a star dragon using the technique I learned at RVE in Kevin Holderny's class. I used it on a coat so far, maybe it looks very cool on the dragon's wings. paint him up as a real world snake. Now there are so many possibilities...
      Decisions, decisions...

Some more work on the base.

I am planning on running a Savage Worlds Tyrnador campaign.  The campaign steals heavily from the new Pathfinder Savage World ruleset.

My son created a hallfing commander and he chose the halfling with the torch from the Dungeon Dwellers set as his character.  I modified the mini by adding a banner (after watching several tutorial videos).  He selected a green 4-leaf clover on an orange background for the banner.  Was a fun little project with some neat freehand.

His friend created a dwarf ranger/smith as his character and choose the Stonehaven Mechanist (SKU 2795) to represent him:

Hello all you denizens of Reapershire!

So been working a little bit more on some Bones V goodness, and today I finished the Female Halfling from the Dungeon Dwellers set:

As always, couldn't choose colors, but once I got the colors figured out, it was pretty smooth sailing from there.  I have a little bit of flash issues, it seems that plastic flash works a bit differently than metal. I am seemingly merciless with metal flash, but too cautious with the Bones material, but I don't know if that can be noticed or not here.  In any case, enjoy and have a very nice weekend!

And a third NPC - his day job is boatswain, so I wanted the armor to not be full plate.... he's currently helping the party do a fetch quest for the captain. I'm pretty satisfied with what I got out for what I put in - but I do notice I seem to have forgotten his eyebrows!
