Spartan6
I have a relatively good pic of something I'm kinda proud of but.... It's 368 Kb's. How do I get it smaller? Really, I am that computer illiterate.
Enchantra
Don't know but this topic is better suited for Painting tips and advice or off-topic rampancy. Actually drop Herr Oberfroschmeister a PM. He takes pics all the time. He should know how to shrink them. I just have my uncle shrink mine after he takes them. jenova
Have you cropped the pic? I mean removed all the space around the mini? If you have a photo editing program it probably has a crop option somewhere. After you have cropped it, you will need to resize. There should be a resize command somewhere in your program. Maybe you can tell us what program you are using. That would probably make it easier
coogle
AFter you have cropped and re-sized. Try saving in Paint, usually strips off useless data, leaving the same quality pic.

I don't know if my version of paint is old, but I have bad experiences with saving my pics there. The JPEGs looked kinda grainy...... Ghost Rider
try srief's photo plus, it's a nice photo software that allows you to resize photos. it's free too. Free Serif Software
Flit
I use the "Save for Web" feature in Photoshop Elements. It lets you see how the pic will look after it is compressed and lets you control quality vs file size and download time.

Spartan6
It's Windows Paint. I can't find a resize command or even a way to center and reduce it manually by resetting the size. GRRRRRRRR
pae
In MS Paint, there's an 'attributes' command in the Image menu. You can change the size of the full image here. I don't see a crop, but you can select an area and then copy it. You can then do a File|New and paste your selection into a new image.
