Greetings from the shambling horde!

I'll be hosting two games of Zombicide at ReaperCon this year, and I'm looking forward to eating...whoops!...meeting anyone who signs up.

These are two firsts for me - first ReaperCon and first time running a game at a con. I can't wait to see what everyone brains...sorry...brings to the table.

I signed up for the Friday 11AM game, sight unseen, on opening day. :)

Are you going to be bringing everything you need? I'm local, live in Lewisville actually, and have the retail season 1 and kickstarter season 2 with all exclusives thus far shipped. I can bring anything else if you'd like...

Hey MadMouser,

I'm relatively local too (outside of Austin). I'll have the Season 1 box - I figured with the time constraint I didn't want to load up with too much crazy stuff. I appreciate the offer!

Plus, it's taken me longer than expected to paint everything (from Season 1) that we haven't gotten to anything from the expansion or Season 2! I've been wanting to experiment with the zombie dogs next.

Nice, I'm bringing my painted Chuck Norris and his card. I have played quite a few games and most have always gone over 2 hours. I LOVE this game.

Hey Disembowler,

Agreed - it's really fun. I took it to work today for a lunch game, and due to some poor tactical choices and tough spawn card draws, we finished in just over an hour.

Sounds like a plan! And yeah, I've been wanting to try them too, but I've got to get a group trained up because it looks like as soon as they're on the board, the players become little more than chew toys...

I know I messed up the timing this year, and worked on Deadcember instead of Orctober.   I wasn't feeling super-motivated by the small amount of unpainted Orcs I had, but from my Frostgrave II: Arcanic Boogaloo order had a ton of the living dead.  And one never has enough Zombies.

However, it means there's plenty of spookybois to be shown off!

The Draugr, mostly converted from the Fireforge Living Dead Peasants and Frostgrave Barbarians with some Warhammer bits.

The Knockers, again Fireforge Living Dead Peasants with Warhammer Dwarf Miners hats and bits from Mantic and Mage Knight.
I think I should go back and add big rucksacks...and redo the flames to be the correct order.

Just plain Fireforge Living Dead Peasants, with the exception of a Frostgrave Cultist head for the Executioner.

The Old Vet, a 3D print from Retro Quest

Undead Pirates from EC3D "Depths of Savage Atoll"

Former Imperials, converted from Warhammer Empire, Mantic Undead, and Frostgrave Cultists (Undead bits)

Mostly Mantic.  Beware the spine whip!

And lastly, when your Necromancer runs out of skulls, the Creeping Claws!  3D prints from Crippled God Foundry

Crawling back from the dead here with this fun little handful of zombies!  Added some gravestones to a few of them using popsicle sticks.  Just good ole' classic grave crawling zombies.  Went for a dusty color palette.

Which one do you think turned out best?

Here is a set of five zombies I painted up - first 2 are wizkids and I found I did not really like the sculpt, a sort of Elvis pirate looking zombie. Second three are a mix of a wizkid and two reaper zombies. Quick paint ups for the table - being fortune to have an in-house group to play with!
