MODEL IDEA: Pathfinder Arcane Trickster

Recommended Posts

I'm a big fan of the Arcane Trickster prestige class from Pathfinder-- would Reaper consider making a miniature of it? I know that Pathfinder Society hasn't made this class an iconic character, but I think it'd be pretty widely enjoyed, and a pretty interesting model. Here's a picture of the Gnome AT from the CRB!

With all the gadgets, straps and buckles, this is just screaming to be sculpted by Werner Klocke!

I think how it works is that the Pathfinder people have to commission the sculpt. You might try begging them for it too, just to cover all your bases  :poke:

Yep. They're in control of their product map, not us. We just make the killer concept art into awesome teensy 3d.

If Pathfinder added such a model to their commission list, would Reaper make it? And how long does that process normally take?

Maybe. It depends mostly on whether Ron thinks it'll be a great miniature or not. (See Ron's post above.)

As for how long the process takes, it varies widely based on many independent factors.

Hmm that reminds me of this Dragon Cover:

Which would suggest Reaper could do a mini at halfling/gnome size doing the rope climb inspired by these images but not copying either of them.

Suggestions of miniatures you would like to see created by Reaper are welcome to be posted in the existing pinned threads in the various subforums. Please move your requests there.

heck, you could probably remove the rope from the first pic and keep everything else the same and end up with a neat dynamic frolicking/skipping gnome pose, well suited to a trickster.

Thanks to @ladystorm, the thread for "Pathfinder Minis That We'd Like to See" has just been pinned.

It is separate from the general fantasy mini-request thread, already pinned.

The Pathfinder-request thread has been around for a while, but it had fallen off as a current thread.

A small group of Goblins to use as opponents in Sellsword & Spellslingers or any other game.

This finally gave me something to use my larger Games Workshop skulls on. I may try to give his hair another highlight of something brighter, as it looks pretty dull at the moment. A fun evil mage that I hope to use as a boss battle one day.

Well, in case you haven't noticed, I'm on a bit of a goblin streak. Those pyros were fun, but now it's the Pathfinder Goblin Warriors!

As I did previously, I took a picture of them out in the backyard, just to see how they'd look in as realistic of an environment as it's gonna get, another in my little "Mini pictures area" (Spoiler: It's literally just my desk with a piece of white paper behind it. Sorry to ruin the magic! ), and lastly one of my favorite goblin. Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Sidenote: I'm still not confident enough to try out eyes. I'll get to that eventually.

      Hello sentient painting creatures!

So here's one I just finished painting and just got his base finished this morning and some pictures taken:

from an eighties Ral Partha set of Julie Guthrie figures, originally called the Berserkers, with was a group of different types of fighters/warriors. Nice set, as is all of what the Goddess Guthrie creates.

With this one, I also am using as a comparison set, because I also painted this one many, many years ago. So it was in the eighties, before 1986 when I graduated high school, so this painted version is of an age between 34 and maybe 39 years old, couldn't nail down an exact date exactly:

I started out with the same skin and hair more or less on my new version, but changed up his wardrobe as to note make a carbon copy.  The new figure was painted with Reaper colors and the old version was Polly S.

Anyhoos, always fun to do these little comparison shots!

These two were mostly done a while ago (along with their buddy Darkrasp). It's just taken me a while to work up the courage to paint the scroll and spellbook and get them off my shelf of shame!
