My Adventuring Party

Very solid group, nice paint jobs. Your Players should be pretty happy to have those custom figures for their PCs!

Cool! I love the cleric´s helmet (hat/turban) my mother have a plate almost identical.

Edit: and I meant as a compliment. It has a very real feeling.

These are great! This is an awesome group for your... group! Are you planning on adding bases? If do make sure you post pics!I like your highlighting work. I find that I'm still a bit paranoid to push mine a lot. These turned out well!

Yeah, these were definitely an experiment in really pushing my highlights. I really wanted to make these good, since they'll hopefully be in use for a while, so I put all the lessons and tutorials I've read here to use, especially the mantra of "more contrast!" I am planning on doing something with the bases. I'm not sure if I'll just paint up the broccolis or add fancy bases. I was looking at a few Secret Weapon bases that I think are pretty cool, but either way I'm not going to do it until after I get the last guy painted up since I want them all to match.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone!

I think bases (even if very simple) are a must for figures that you use at the table, if nothing else but for stability. Looking forward to seeing them if/when you add some basing to them.

Haven't had an issue with stability with any Bones figures yet (Deathsleet aside), so the broccolis are doing their job; they're just not very pretty, especially unpainted.

Awesome job all around.

I think your elven druid came out really nice.  And that warlock i think it my favorite

You should also totally go for broke and do fancy bases....these are heros after all!

The dire crocodile, dire boar, and dire crab were one of the Bones 4 addons, and it doesn't look like they've hit retail just yet. Which is a shame, because we need more giant crabs.

The mud on the dire crocodile's base is just some water effect goo dribbled on that half of the base. The barnacles attached to the rocks on the dire crab's base were sculpted with green stuff. The rocks... those are just rocks.

I'm looking for something to stick Bones, specifically Ma'al Drakar's terrain, to a wooden base. It's not thick enough, at the area I want to place it, to pin effectively.

What kind of adhesives would work? I'm thinking epoxy, maybe? I just /really/ don't want to melt it accidentally and have to buy a new one.

I just like the way the blue/black wings look.  - I did the same with the Librarian Sophie. (last month)
I really need to paint up one of the metal versions for contrast.
I'm not sure what she is serving - Meat, bread and salad is the way I painted it, but that could be cake instead.

Been wanting to paint this one for awhile. Love the dynamic pose! Really happy with this one.

Look at that winning smile!  He wants you to come for dinner....

I am sad to see the paint has rubbed off in some places, might have to try to patch that up by using some Reaper liner.
