Aard_Rinn
CAVstarter? CAVstarter!? CAVstarter!!?! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Probably won't go big on this one due to the financials - I have no money during the summer - but will definitely buy once they're in stores. I might pledge $50 or so... Hopefully, I'll have enough CoH to pledge in for the core, and then maybe add on if there's a pledge manager. I mean, all I really want in life is big stompy robots... And the Hemi, which is clearly an autobot and will be painted as such. CAVs aren't super-huge, right? If they can get them down to the 4-5$ range (about half the cost of the metal ones, I hope!) I will probably build about a million of them. STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! shall they cry, as they roll across the plains. STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! ... The thing I'm most excited for is the comments, though. Will Haikusday be returning, triumphant, at the CAVstarter's start? Robot-themed Haikus Are at the pinnacle of Japanese writing... Just saying...

HornedTurtle
So how much do people have budgeted for this? I can probably do $50-$100.

Pegazus
So how much do people have budgeted for this? I can probably do $50-$100. Budget? Isn't that like a small bird or something? Like a parakeet? Sadly, I have an open wallet on this. I guess I shouldn't say that as there is a limit where that little accountant on my shoulder would win out. Have to be cheaper than the metal ones, and a good number of them. Smaller KS probably than Bones I or II, so on the order of 20 in a base set plus 20 as an add on for funding goals. So.... I'd wager I'll be out around $120-$150.
Bonwirn
depending on the number available... probably somewhere in the vacinity of the Bones I KS.... $300 to $500. could easily buy a couple of sets and "donate" them to the FLGS so they can get folks to play locally, increasing demand and therefore, increasing number of units available.
Sergeant_Crunch
Depends on how things go, I've already got a sizable collection of figures in metal, so mine would mostly be a symbolic "please keep making the models" kind of backing.

Chrome
depends on which ones are available. I'm more likely to back if I can get larger models like the Tbird and Emperor. I've got plenty of the smaller models. But if they include tanks and AFVs, I could go overboard...
Moezilla
Yea, I could grab some of the plastics to fill out for proxies in other games or if I ever play CAV 2 again, if we get interest going in this area again. Mainly would want the larger models, tanks/afv's and aircraft for use with other mini systems I can convert things to for play. All depends on what is offered and funding levels. joshuaslater
I'm not going to pretend to play it cool. I'll go hog wild for this kickstarter. I only got into CAV with the second edition, and had a blast. I've not been around long enough to be upset about editions. I think Reaper has come a long way from when they started, and they know how to run a great kickstarter, so I'm pretty confident that good things will come of this.
