Hymn
Glad you were able to get your passport replaced today. I guess you'll have to come back next year for that drink So does that mean you have his second? :) But seriously, SR, make note of this offer - it's 100% serious and valid. I suppose I should ask what your preference is though...seeing as you are crazy and all I don't want to be stuck springing for $1,000 bottles of rare wormwood Absinthe. MadMouser
Alrighty then. Are you still at the con hotel? What's the best way to reach you? When would you like to head down? Got lunch plans? Anyone else in town got lunch plans?
ShadowRaven
Yes I am still at the con hotel. Best way to reach me would be to either call the hotel and ring my room 405, or contact me by cell, which I can PM you. Lunch plans are wherever you want to go that is under $20 per plate, my treat as a thank you. As for when I would like to head down, the earlier the better, but it depends more on what works for you. Don't want to be pulling you away from any major business deals, or world shaking back room plotting edit. Hymn, Qwyk, I an susceptible to bribery. especially if that bribe takes the form of a rum and coke, or a whiskey and coke Edited April 29, 2014 by ShadowRaven
MadMouser
If you want to do earlier, I'm cool with that. How about I pick you up about 9:45 or so? Traffic will have died down, we can get the running around done and then plan on lunch.

Be careful, the wife is currently suffering from post traumatic con disorder. She turned to me last night and was like...."I miss having everyone around, and the minis, and the hanging out at tables, and the faisco....etc." Besides the swag, you really can't bring the con home.
ShadowRaven
As I told a few others though, in some ways it really was a blessing. So many really wonderful people just showed up to talk, or give me a bit of help or encouragement. It was maddening, but it was good all the same. I will be back though. I have found my tribe, my clan, my people
Bonwirn
I ordered the Fiasco books today, so when we next meet for a paint day, maybe we can get in a game.

ShadowRaven
oh darn, and here I was hoping one of the lovely ladies was showing some interest in my awesomeness. Maybe next year.
MadMouser
We were talking over brisket about maybe adding a non-official BBQ night. The place I took them to is pretty close to the hotel and is used to serving crowds. We did our non-rehearsal pre-wedding dinner there, for example...
