Colour choices inspired by Michael Proctor's colourful offerings. Tried some strong & bright contrasts on the mouth and body, though the Folk Art Dioxazine Purple Magic Wash on the body took over even stronger than expected.

I like those gigantic teeth and the inside of the body is killer.

A fantastic and colorful and from the scale (very large) worm...I do have pity on the poor guy in the gullet with his hammer...wish him the best of luck and hope that the beast does not take a big gulp and swallow...Great colors and finish!

Please excuse my mistake scorpio616...by accident, I posted this under Anne...but it was meant for you!!!

Wanted to make the mouth look dangerous as hell so I'm glad the teeth get the point across.

I was trying for Blacklight Poster style with this one. {note to self, get blacklight]

Scale... worm is 7" high and a bit over 3" thick. It will fit onto a 4" base, but it's probably getting a 40K oval base.

Depending on the edition & ruleset, getting swallowed might be less dangerous than bite damage.

...where you will be slowly digested over 1000 years....

About right for how tough dwarves get.

Very cool!  He could use some curve imo.  Love the paint choices!

He has some curve, but this was the worm I chose to be mostly vertical.

Thanks again

The poor poor hammer of Moradin in the gullet.  We knew him well... well not really.

Well enough TVtropes:Our Dwarves Are All The Same.

Hmm. Interesting. Although they are inaccurate when they say Tolkien made up the plural "dwarves" (as opposed to "dwarfs"). He only popularized a usage that dates to the eighteenth century. But "dwarfs" is only a little older. The actual Middle English plural of "dwarf" is "dwerrow", not that you'll find many using it.

...

The worm is great fun.
