Paint Club @ Reaper

Hey, all!

I'm a local-ish guy (down in Addison) wondering about the free Reaper Paint Club on Saturdays from 12-4. I have a few questions for all the veterans:

1) I'm an uber-n00b at painting. Though I hear all levels are welcome, will I be too out of place if I come?

2) I should have all the materials I need, but is there anything I SHOULD'NT bring that will already be there?

3) About how many people show up on any given weekend?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

I have been told I should go since I live in Allen but getting away for hours on a weekend makes the daughter unhappy.  Instead I should pull out the paints during the day and just let her paint Cthulhu like she has been asking to do for a couple months now. :)

Maybe one day I will go up there when he cousin is visiting and I will be missed a little less.

Let me know if you ever decide to go. I'd be happy to have another first timer along.

<I've been 3 or 4 times now and I am a total noob. everyone at paint club is really cool and very welcoming to everyone. you should come to paint club and join in the fun. They have paint you can use, water cups, some pallets. But you will need some brushes I believe. I usually bring everything I can in case there is something I need that is not available. Come join the fun! It's a great way to learn and have fun!

Awesome, I think I will. Do most people arrive at noon and stay all the way until 4?

Paint Club Rules:

First - Don't Not Talk About Paint Club.

Second - Don't Not Talk About Paint Club.

Third - If someone says they are overwhelmed with information, let them work on what they already are practicing. Also, if you are overwhelmed, speak up.

Fourth - The more painters the better.

Fifth - One piece of advice at a time. One mini at a time.

Sixth - Shirt and shoes are probably required by your FLGS.

Seventh - Everyone progresses at a different pace and has a different end goal in mind.

Eighth - If this is your first time, then you have to paint.
