Swag Bags Back

Got one!  So happy that more made it to the store.  I'd been waiting and saving for a couple months for this, and despaired that I might not get one.  I can now happily become a member of the exclusive "Pokey-Pin Club."

...um.

Didn't somebody say the pokey-skulls weren't in the swag bags, you had to buy them separately...?

I also got a couple of Castle and Crusades game adventures, a copy of Game Trade magazine,  a copy of Meeples' magazine, and... um... one other magazine, can't remember the title. And wasn't there a copy of this year's Casket Works?

A copy of Ravage magazine was also in there.

I'm not an employee of Reaper, but FWIW, I'd be surprised to see the tool in the store. It's very labor-intensive to make, so for it to make economic sense to keep it as a regularly stocked item, I strongly suspect it would have to be priced out of its value.

As a con exclusive, it's both a promotional tool (as witness this conversation) and a low-volume item (so the total cost is low).

Wish I had picked up a couple instead of just the one. They're cool. (edit: I mean pokey tools)

I'm glad some more folks are getting the chance to get swag bags and can understand that they're limited by their very nature and most other conventions don't allow you to get one unless you attend. The way people behaved this year, I doubt they'll offer them again next year.
