Flamehawke
My goal is to set no goals! Last month's goals kept me up too late too many nights! LOL! I think I'm just going to let loose and have fun this month. We'll see what comes of it! There is your goal! To have fun just painting
Foxden Racing
Ohcrap, it is May already. Keep working on my technique: - Learn to paint with the tip, rather than the side, of a brush, to keep splaying and curling down. - Suck less at green stuff / pinning - Suck less at working with MSP - Learn to work around a bone drenched in Brown Liner [as per Buglips' discovery] Get the following at least through basecoat: - Mythos Monsters set [3 + Lil' 'hu] - Custom-pinned/custom-puttied CAVs [3] - That effin' dragon I'm still not happy with.

I think I'm just going to let loose and have fun this month. We'll see what comes of it! There is your goal! To have fun just painting I think that's what I'm doing. I'm actually painting right now without a WIP. I'm giving my writer's side a rest for at least one mini. Actually it's for my son, who's turning 3 on Saturday. He requested a "Helmet," which I think means a knight. He also requested a dragon. What he's getting is 03473: Khesh Blackscale, Dragonman... I already managed to butcher poor Khesh's foot, but that's what Army Painter tufts are for!

Sergeant_Crunch
I also need to reassemble Kyra and Lavarath. They fell from a great height while I was packing for the con. The wings were the only part to stay attached. Thankfully it hit me before the concrete floor so the paint job is intact except for a couple of spots. I already managed to butcher poor Khesh's foot, but that's what Army Painter tufts are for! Awww. That is so sweet. I am sure he will love it. I also need to reassemble Kyra and Lavarath. It apparently did not want you to leave at all. In other news I finished the Frost Wyrm! I thought I would not, but I might not get Sophie done as one of her pieces went missing.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted May 7, 2014 Moderator Share Posted May 7, 2014 Previous goals are invalidated, made obsolete by the 48 Saturnine troops on my desk.
Dilvish the Deliverer
I have my temporary paint area set up in my hotel room and have acquired the missing tools I seem to have left at home (some sort of blade and stupor-glue) although I could have sworn I packed them. After work I shall today commence operation WIP.
Kengar
1) My Moria skirmish boards: Watcher in the Water, Balin's Tomb, and the Bridge at Khazad Dum. 2) I've got about 40 Skull Pass Night Goblins I'm going to try and get through using TAP color primer and "dip" method. (I made their cloaks purple instead of black). 3) Marthrangul: I don't expect to finish him, but I want to make some actual progress on the mini and the base.

Citrine
My new opportunity at work has drastically cut into my painting time :-p. Last week I worked 54 hours. Hopefully, this memorial day weekend I can relax and watch some paint dry. In the few hours I did paint I started on a couple of giants instead of finishing some that are 90% done. So I am currently sitting at 0 of 8 this month.
Sergeant_Crunch
I've gotten Kyra and Lavarath glued back together, but I'm going to have to fill and paint the gap in the tail. Unfortunately the color I used for the basecoat dried out (stupid bottle ). I have primed four tanks and a CAV, even sprayed the basecoat for two of the tanks. Looks like the factory is gearing back up...
ub3r_n3rd
@ Citrine - Sympathy like @ SC - Also sympathy on the bottle of dried out paint, but happy to hear you are moving forward with your tanks.
CashWiley
Is it bad when I start hoping for bad weather so I can get in some painting?
Sergeant_Crunch
Thinking about creating a CAV2 scenario called The Battle of New El Alamein. Tank heavy, Ritterlich vs Terrans on desert terrain.
