Are they aiming for one project a month or something? I wonder if it will impact any of the other projects they have.

CMON is the Publisher and running the Kickstarters, but not really the producer for most games:

Relic Knights -> Soda Pop Miniatures

Guilds of Cadwallon - Legacy Games (should be Legacy Miniatures and could be part of CMON, found not much about them.)

Rivet Wars -> Super Robot Punch

Kaosball -> Spaghetti Western Games

Arcadia -> Spaghetti Western Games

Dogs of War -> Spaghetti Western Games

Sedition Wars -> Studio McVey

Zombicide -> Guillotine Games

Wrath of Kings -> CMON

So I do not see really a reason to worry.

Legacy games is a "division" of Dust games (dust tactics).  The license Confrontation\Rackham from Cyanide (game studio) which bought the rights and from what I understand Legacy pretty much lets CMoN do all the work for them now (game design, production, distribution).

I was only wondering why is on the Box of GoC the name Legacy Games and not Legacy Miniatures, but having the same symbol.

But under Legacy Miniatures I found the same information that they are a Daughter Company of Dust Games.

A card game with all the art and probably all the design being done by someone other than them. I'd say, unless they end up with a shipping conflict, probably no impact at all on other projects.

-edit-

Actually let me take part of that back. It looks like CMON bought this one outright and is likely doing at least some design on it and possibly more.

The Publisher is the person responsible for getting the product in people's hands. The designers and developers are responsible for the contents of what goes to the publisher.

I will not back further CMON projects after Relic Knights (nearly delivered and then done with CMON) and Sedition Wars (so badly damaged *sigh*, and apparently still wed to CMON :( ).

If there are 2 partners working together, blame both or none. It is not easy to say which errors are made by CMON or the partner.

CMON don't blame their partners (I like this), so only few informations about the reasons of the issues are public.

If someone don't back CMON after Relic Knights or Sedition Wars, I can understand it.

I didn't back these projects, but after what I heard I would never back a CMON/Soda Pop Miniatures project or CMON/Studio McVey project.

I backed for Zombicide Season 2 and I was happy with the results and the short delay. So I would back in the future CMON/GG projects. I backed for WoK and I will see if I'm wrong with my trust in them, if I get my stuff. With WoK I see already differences, CMON are answering much faster questions over email.

Maybe something has changed at CMON but their abysmal communication post KS for Relic Knights and Sedition Wars is one of my problems with them. When I compare the Soda-Pop communication on the SDE:FK project it is completely different (as in a lot better).

I'm also happy with what I got for Sedition Wars, but a huge amount of damage was done through the handling of that KS and the continued "support" CMON is providing as the publisher.

The biggest change in communication started in December.

For me is still the biggest question why did they together with GG the Zombicide S1 KS so well and had so big problems with the next 2 KS's? Even the KS's after these two didn't have so much issues.

With Zombicide S2 and even for a short time after WoK there were communication issues, but I think mostly backer created through overreacting, read-the-f**king-updates and patience issues and also because of some trolls only backing to make trouble. (And also because of selling products at GenCon, even if they provided also Backers with their stuff there, not a good idea)

How often do I read that CMON didn't deliver at the the promised ETA. This is nonsense. No Kickstarter ever had a promised ETA and it will not happen in the future with the rules of KS in the moment. Wrong expectations and the same stupid questions again and again, will only created a email version of ddos attacks. (I see this problem also at Mantic KS's in the moment).

If the communication with Soda Pop works, it is even possible they learned also from Relic Knights.

It's amazing how a mailing list to potential customers boosts CMON's campaigns compared to other games on the same level even with CMON's history.

It is the elevenths Kickstarter and only 2 (S.W. and R.K.) had serious problems. 5 others are already delivered. And it looks like they are good products. (I love Zombicide.) WoK looks also very promising. And 3 are completely new. For the 2 failures I think the partnership was not really working.

I think they have such boosts, because of what they have done. They have a really good history.
