RENAISSANCE FAIR...(SCRIBE BOOTH)...

DATA...This is the 11th open air booth in my Renaissance Fair project. It is a medium size booth for the scribe/letter writer...scratch built on ceiling tile...size (4.5"x4.5").

Shown from concept art draft drawing to complete finish...built on a (slant T) frame construction...the Reaper figure is just to show the scale of the finished piece.

As always; I hope that you like this little piece of fantasy terrain.

As always, your creation is CHARMING &  BEAUTIFULLY detailed with the flora adding a touch of whimsy, Once again, VERY WELL DONE!

Although I hope the project goes on forever, I look forward to photos of the Fair in its entirety.

Thank you...all my friends above for your comments and very delightful feedback...completely appreciated as always by this old man!

malefactus...as much as I love building these little pieces of my miniature fantasy world...I will be glad to see the end (for the time being) come...I still have the (produce market booth...the food court booth...the live stock pens...eve's garden booth and the privy area to go as my major pieces left to complete...still about 2 weeks work at the pace I am currently working.

I don't know who gets more tired...you the members viewing this big project (piece by piece)...or me as I build/complete each piece of this project (piece by piece).

Thank you all for your words of inspiration and your delightful feedback...you have no idea as to the inspiration that you provide for me in large projects like this...and I mean that with honest total sincerity!

Sweet now I can a notarized power of attorney for when my character gets petrified!

Looks great! We love your booths, but yeah make a damn building!!!  Its hard to stick through projects like this and if you don't have deadlines then you can put one kind of project on hold and dabble in another.  I have seen some of your buildings and they are super duper.

Whats the next actual building you are going to do?

I have a flying clockwork ship (ex-pirate boat) in the future at some point, have to finish these durn foam-core buildings and those few stalls, for some reason I went from no players to what is going to be playing games 4 times this week, my wife is about to kill me and I haven't been able to paint a thing.

spencerjohn...What kind of a building do you want me to build?...I usually have to have a reason for building a building...once I have the reason...I can determine what kind of motif I will draw as the concept art......REASONS...(1) I built these outdoor open air booths because the reason was a Renaissance Fair...(2) I built the gypsy tents because the reason was a gypsy nomad group...(3) I have built varied buildings/structures/towers/wharves/junk yards/etc. because they were nostalgic Americana pieces.

I just can not sit down and build a building...without a reason and/or purpose. So let me know what you have in mind and I will give it possible consideration if I can find a valid purpose.

I'd love to see your take on an Inn/Tavern Paul.

ub3r_n3rd...Building an Inn/Tavern!...Are you talking about (just the outside structure) or a (detailed inside structure)?

The outside (only) structure would take me about 4 to 6 weeks to build and another 2 weeks to do the base...The detailed inside structure would again be a major project that would take about 4 months to build and a lot of ($$$).

Great idea...but since it is not something that I am in need of or as a paid commission project...I don't think so!

I was talking about the whole thing (one floor) inside and out, but as you said it would cost you quite a bit of $ and you have no need of it, maybe sometime in the future when you do need it or someone commissions it from you.

@Paul/Catdancer. I remember you showed off some building interiors quite a while ago. Wasn't that an inn or maybe a bed and breakfast? I can't remember all the rooms but I do seem to remember a front desk (or bar) and cellar being two of the rooms.
