There was a time, when I worked in an office, that I failed my will save against TVTropes. Now, I don't have to make a save anymore. I have seen. I have seeeeeeeeen...

I certainly thought so. Of course, everyone's reading my posts trying to figure out where they are, so it just works smoother if I draw attention to them from the beginning.

 

Another convention I've seen is using different colours to separate speech from action - but that can get gawdy and be a pain to remember to do. I may end up using it later if we have multiple npcs talking at once.

I have not been able to find a figure that is suitably appropriate for Sonskyn. There are practically NO figures holding a quarterstaff, male or female, human or other. Lots holding magical staffs with weird toppers or complexly carved shafts, but none wielding a plain wooden staff. 

 

However I have found a sketch posted on deviantart which is a fair approximation of my mental image of Sonskyn, (girl is wearing leather armour and holds no weapons at all). I've asked the artist for permission to reference it (with credit) and will share it if she is okay with that.   

 

If she doesn't give me permission then I might just give in and use a figure with some other weapon or a magic staff though....

I still have to go look through the figure finder and and find a model to represent Chance.  However it may be hard.  Most of the figures with bows are rangers.  Chance is a fighter with bow.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to have a good look through the figure finder, too. There have been a few that are sorta kinda close ish, but nothing that just jumped out as perfect.

I got a mini, painted her up, did her base, and realized that the weapon on her back is in fact a bow and not a second sword. @[email protected] I'll probably use her anyways. I worked so hard on her after all :(
