ED: we have a fairly stable temperature... we don't tend to have huge fluctuation... or not as huge as other parts of Australia anyway.  Visting during summer you know its going to be muggy and warm (and hope you don't get the odd very warm day - unless you're from the outback in which case you're walking round in jeans and a jumper muttering about how cold it is here in Brisbane)

My cousin's cancer tests just came back in the clear! Second surgery to shrink the tumor in two weeks.

Sympathy like.   We've been having similar problems, with poop but not pee... And can't quite tell if it's protest over my working hours, or new cleanliness fussiness over the litter box. We might

My 15-1/2 year old son just landed his very first job, working for an International House of Pancakes restaurant as a dishwasher and busboy. His first shift was yesterday and his second is tomorrow.

Winter its going to be coldish and not so muggy.

Everyone will be walking round in Jeans & Jumpers & muttering about how cold it is.  If you are from anywhere that is even slightly cold you will be raising your eyebrows and wondering how 20oC (68F) is Jumper weather.

If you end up in Brisbane let me know... I even have a spare bedroom... lol

We're supposedly getting rain tomorrow. If it's just rain, i'll be cool with that. Definitely hoping for no severe weather though, it's been a good and safe spring/early summer so far here and I don't want that to change

Y'all are kinda quiet today, only a few pages...

And you can keep your hot weather, thanks very much. I like 'warm'. I don't like 'hot'; I like 'hot and sticky' even less. 'Hot and dry' isn't any better, it's still got the 'hot' component.

Sometimes things amaze me.

I was looking up something yesterday (can't even remember what it was) and came across a list of the 6 most dangerous creatures that can fit in your boot....

3 of the list were from Australia.... Cone shell fish, box jelly fish and blue ring octopus....  they all look so very cute too!
