River, Half-Elven Oracle of Nature

Recommended Posts

Okay I feel like I need to put a disclaimer on her eyes - they look pretty ridiculous (like ancient Egyptian paintings!) straight on, but they're fine on the tabletop, which is where she was going, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

This figure was painted to represent my boyfriend's Pathfinder Society character: River, Half-Elven Oracle of Nature. I did some minor weapon swapping, which you can see in my WIP thread. The flock is coming off her base after a day of gaming, so I'll need to reapply. Thinking of putting some more static grass in too. This is the first metal mini I've done since coming back to the hobby last year. The prep really threw me off at first. Priming? What's that lol?!

Very pretty! I haven't seen this sculpt before. That's also a different kind of flock! What brand/type is it? Great job!

They're both by Army Painter. The grass is Moss Green flock, and the flowers are Wildflower Tufts. The wildflowers come in a mix of white and yellow; I bet you could dot them with a different color if you had the patience for it.
