Looks great Jay, happy to see you finally post some of your work in Show-off threads. Keep it up, you've made some really amazing improvements in a very short time.

Thanks Ub3r !

Your input and inspiration really help me keep my focus on these.

One of these days I WILL Base my Miniatures...

Just a matter of time till I am prepared to do so.

I actually figured out my hand drill yesterday..LOL.

Thanks again.

Glad I can help Jay, it's inspiring to watch you work and grow in this wonderful hobby. I hope to see you get into basing as well, it's really not very hard to get a good base under that figure and amp up the figure as a whole, helping to tell a story. I look forward to seeing more of your work and experimentation as a mad scientist.

Looks really nice. Love the draping on the horse. Thunderbolt is in a smaller scale. After working on a lot of heroic scale it is odd when you move into 25 or 28 small side

At First it felt really weird to work with.

Since it is pewter it also meant I had to remove the flashing from the molds, mold lines,

and then the sheer petite elements overwhelmed me at first.

You have to learn to concentrate, and control each and every stroke on these mini's.

One false move and you have wiped out hours of work !

I was concentrating on my brush control when I started all four of these,

Now that they are complete, I have noticed I am NOT a messy painter any more,

and I couldn't be happier !

I WILL paint more of the Thunder Bolt Mountain stuff, it is extremely well carved, and thought out.

Looking forward to going back to reaper size for a while, and experiment with the newly learned brush control !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for commenting !

Really nice work!  I always find painting horses difficult, but you did excellent!

THANK YOU Kuro !

After admiring your work for so long, to receive a compliment from you is an honor sir.

I have much to learn still; but dang, sometimes one of these miniatures just lights up your soul !

Not often, but when they do, magic happens !

Thanks again.

Ooo. Ooo. Favorable adjectives, intensified with obscene gerunds, and concluded with another favorable adjective!

Seriously, that's a sweet piece of work.

Now that I have stopped laughing, and giggling, Thank you for the compliment !

I had tears in my eyes after reading your comment.

It was madcap enough to absolutely crack me up!

Thanks again
