Yeah I posted about it when I first found out, think it was in the random thread so it got quickly buried.

 

It was a neat place, 50% RPG/boardgame/tabletop 50% model kits/RC. I was somewhat relieved to hear the reason for closing was the eldery owners' retirement vs. poor performance.

Just ordered the Ruins Vignette base, another Pathfinder Red and two paint triads (brilliant greens and weathered blues). I won't get to keep the mini or the base, though. It's going as a gift to my brother-in-law when it's finished. Not sure if it will be green or blue, though. Probably green.

I know it's not quite as good as a print copy, but they do sell Deities and Demigods in .pdf format on Drive Thru RPG.

I've actually got pdf copies of both those books... but its handy having physical copies when you are at games.... so... its just me trying to make up my mind to bit the bullet and pay the money for the physical copies.

THIS was a surprise... same place I found the Warhammer Quest set... and only six bucks! Had all eighteen Harlequin figures, too. But the paint jobs are awful. Guess I'll take it back for a refund...

 

...and yes, that's a 5th edition D&D starter set underneath it. I am a weak and pathetic individual...

Sir!  Staff Sergeant Grey reporting for field operations, Sir!  My most recent mini purchase did not require breaching the walls of an FLGS, nor was the price any particular bargain.  Therefore, recent report is classified Secret.

 

Acknowledged: orders for Operation: Gen Con received.  Exhibit hall, Auction, Auction Store, Paint & Take, other events and direct deals will all be explored, and a full report written post-con.  I understand my orders are to purchase and report only on SHINY, so Kickstarters and other crowdfunding futures will remain off limits.

If they're the 1e books, they're worth the price. (Especially if you can get the Deities & Demigods with the Moorcock mythos and the Cthulhu mythos.)
