Picked up a sweet set of dice for my dwarf defender in pathfinder at a local medieval/fantasy festival. (20,000 visitors!)

Speaking of which, I'm considering a Dungeon World PbP game, and would like to poll the forums for interest. Anyone?

You know we do have subforums set up for that, right? The Sandbox for the out of game gathering and coordinating and The Playing for the actual PbP. Scroll to the bottom of the forum home to find them.

I do; but more people read the Off-Topic subforum, and I'm just polling for interest. With one hit, so far, it's not seeming to be a sustainable enterprise.

While I am intrigued, this is the worst possible time of year for me to take on additional things. The beginning of the school year for a teacher is rather unpredictable.

Just thought I would give a teaser report before the 11 o'clock news airs the entire story....

 

Stopped by a game store on way home from last trip.... Owner is getting rid of minis line. 200+ Reaper minis for less than $2 each. I am still working on cataloging the haul, but I have seen at least four hill giants, three of the large trolls, two of Svetlana ice Princess and nine Warlord 3-piece army packs in the group. A full list will be revealed when the cataloging is complete. Film at 11 !!!

I think I anticipated this, but today I finally got my hands on this, coming from Europe through my brother and sister-in-law:

 

 

Really, really gorgeous. Incredibly fine pigment. Might do a video review if there is any interest... but I only have Vallejo metallics to compare at the moment.

I've not heard of that line of paint and am totally unfamiliar with it.

While I've never used it, I've heard good things and seen some good results with it.  Scale75 has a summer sale running until the end of the month if you're interested.

I discovered that if you try and Like This 48 times, you just windup liking/unliking it 24 times.

It is becoming big in Europe. US distribution is still lacking, I believe.

Edit: Forgot to mention; those two packs above were a courtesy gift from Scale75 because of the video above... they thanked me, told me they didn't have much reviews, especially in English, and said "we are launching a line of metallics you will also like, have a postal address?"   I had them sent to my brother in France, and many months, later, they are in my hands.

He had not sold any in a long time. The last time he remembered selling the stuff was January (which coincidentally coincided with my last visit to the store where I bought some stuff at 50% off then as well). Even the Warhammer stuff was 50% off. The store has turned into mostly comic books (probably 75% of retail space), magic and hero clix.

 

If I would have had more cash on me, I might have bought the Warhammer stuff as well, just for resale value.

Finished the catalog... 208 minis, 6 triples, 21 doubles, rest are singles. Will post a full list tonight after boy scout meeting.
