We drove up to Dallas for an unrelated event, and ended up at the Reaper store (cause, reasons...). I walked out with the 5 paints I wanted, and a BUNCH of minis, including a Sandy chibi! I was so excited that the Hubs got to go in and ooh and aaah with me. He picked about half of the minis we walked out with. It was wonderful. :)

I just got a mini of a dwarf, riding into battle.  ON ANOTHER DWARF! 

the second dwarf is crawling.  Its got to be the slowest steed ever!   

Half my gaming group immediately tried to get me to write it up as my next character - using animal companion/mount rules. 

I love those guys. 

 

 

I have no idea who made it. It came from the good will box.   AEG 98' is on the base.

I just scored an unbuilt copy of Ral Partha's Great Red Dragon limited edition boxed set on eBay for a very reasonable price.  And, that completes my collection of RP limited run kits.  

 

BTW, what is it with eBay these days?  Almost no auctions to speak of any more, just storefronts with the most outrageous asking prices.  It's almost as bad as what sellers are asking on Amazon: "Uber-rare D&D module 'B2 Keep on the Borderlands.'  Missing all maps and 6 pages of text.  Badly mildewed and water damaged, and was used at one point to house-train a puppy.  You can have this quality piece of TSR memorabilia for only $1000."

well, by the current rules, dwarves don't reduce their speed because of weight...

I got one of the new GW Battle Cases today from my FLGS. I've popped my Infinity and Wrath of Kings mini's in it. I am loving this new foam design. Really nice to not have to change out foam sheets for the different armies.

I got that email too. Thinking about flower witch and the male Apothesis

I was also tempted by the male Apothesis but I am already cutting into ReaperCon spending money for the witch. She has been one that has grown on me since the original release and it was Jessica Rich's version that finally got me saying, "I want that." The thief looked interesting in the email but after seeing the other angles, there is something that bugs me about her. When I saw the Apothesis ones though I thought you would like them. Very barbarian looking.
