My order I placed on the 20th with Fantization should arrive today according to the USPS. They were doing that big sale, went to a local con, and were a bit behind on orders. The pre-order I placed with them for the White Witch (Hasslefree) will arrive when they get her in stock and they are shipping her out to me for free.

So my earlier post got deleted; with apologies to anyone reading this twice I did want however to swing back by and mention that I received in the mail the bookshelf mimic I got from Goblyn. He also sent along a smaller bookcase mimic as a bonus. It bears mentioning, even a second time, as it's a totally awesome monster with which I can't wait to torture my Pathfinder party. Yup.

 Y'know, I'm pretty sure if he could get those cheaply cast in plastic he could have his own little cottage industry cranking out mimics in all shapes and sizes.

My pk pro stuff came in. Mainly a holder in each size, but also a couple basing bits.

 

The pics all show split corks, but the ones I got weren't split (and the pair of extra weren't even cut down to size).

Huh, mine was split. Though, to be honest, it's corks so it's not hard to do yourself. Not being the right size though is annoying as you really need a tight fit to hold things in place.

I just went to the craft store and got a couple wood shapes to try as bases as well as some E6000 for gore. 

You guys really make a lady want to try new things.

Just purchased a few Kaha Miniatures, one is a pre-order of an amazing Gorilla he's working on right now, the other two are just awesome. So I'll get these in 1-2 months as I told him to hold off on sending out until the Gorilla has been finished and cast up.

 

Sculptor is the fantastic Fancagne Didier, who owns Kaha Miniatures.

 

Gorilla (still a WIP, but mostly done) - he has a bunch of baby monkeys on his back!

 

 

 

 

 

Rayona - A lion warrior? Just awesome.

 

 

 

 

 

Skeletor - I have a figure I got from Primeval's "Barbaric Splendor line" that is a lot like He-Man riding a battle-cat, so this will be an awesome vignette!

 So, while I was wandering around the little shopping village where I picked up my edibles I was bragging about in the funnel cake thread, I found this stuff...

 

 

 

 

 ...At a shop called Mystical Elements that sells herbs and crystals and new age/Wicca stuff...

 

 Not sure if it's any good for foliage yet...

 

But hey, a big fist-sized bag only cost me $2.95...

 

 I'm sure I'll find something to do with it. If nothing else, it'll make decent tree roots.
