Haha, we'll see.

Wish I'd gotten a Distracted, too, if they're really reselling for what someone earlier said.

Yeah, I'm thinking of selling mine when I get her and actually did contemplate getting 2 of her... she's selling for $200 on eBay right now. If I'd have gotten 2 of her, I could've sold one, kept one, and still pocketed $100...

My KD minis arrived.. Percival is the least complicated KD mini I've ever seen.. main body, sword, and hand.. done..

Hmm, haven't even gotten shipping confirmation for my Distracted figure yet.

So I check my mailbox a bit ago and there's my pretty little Distracted sitting in there all snug and smug! Woot!

Those of you who've ordered from Nocturna before--do they usually take a few days to ship out? Do they notify upon shipping? Any sort of tracking possible, coming from Spain and all?

I just received a "preparation in progress" email from them for my order from the 6th.

I got one from my order on the 4th this morning, too, and had forgotten to check in here with that news. Thank you!

No problem. I saw the email this morning and remembered you asking. I thought I would mention it as you ordered before me and if you had not received one yet, it would be a good reason to contact them.

Just got my shipping notice and tracking number. Hopefully you did as well.

<---- jealous of Nocturna purchases.  ::P:

Money tied up in two kickstarters right now... also just bought that KD figure and some bombshell stuff, maybe later I'll jump on some Nocturna stuff.

Gotta pace yourself... right?

Yep! F5ing to commence shortly.

In other news, got my Bombshell Babes in, today: Nowada, Ronja the Barbarian, and Thorga the Half-Orc. Is Nowada actually pregnant? We couldn't decide. I love Thorga the most, I think, but anyway. My PF players all were really awed by the lot--they woke up wanting to continue last night's paint party, so I practically had to fight them off these ladies. They're in the kitchen painting again now. Mission: accomplished.

Haha, that's what I thought.

I kind of want her to be pregnant, though. Not sure what this indicates about my psyche.

Maybe add a bit of greenstuff over her belt? MAKE her pregnant with just a little bit of work.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Should only take a few minutes. lol.

Here are two little guys for the new year: Bones vege-(or vegy-)pygmies, sculpted by Kevin Williams.
In the game lore, they are plant creatures arising from infestations of russet mold, so I wanted to incorporate rusty orange- and red-browns with the green.
(And if you're still in the holiday spirit, you can sing a rousing round of "Rusty the Moldman".)
I spent about 2-3 hours on each.
It was fun to play with a few oranges, reds, and purples, along with the greens.
I thought about adding foliage or other material on the bases, but decided to call these two done for now.
      Enjoy!

As you continue exploring the cathacomb, you catch sight of a ghastly humanoid creature walk in your direction. The stench of death and rot lingered around its undead forms. You recognize with horror, a minion of the dark necromancer queen Kiaransalee. This is a 77159, Ghast sculpted by James Van Schaik.

Well, finally painted him - and I'm pretty satisfied. I heavily borrowed/copied from this post: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/84520-77594-solar-angel/#comment-1788530,

It went better than I expected.

I may end up doing a bunch of image dumps - I've painted a lot this year and maybe I should just post them in sets.

This one, though, deserves its own post, I think.  I painted up the Green Dragon Hatchling from waaaay back in Bones 2, showed it to my wife, and she made some suggestions - so here you have it painted up as a Swamp Dragon from the Discworld, as kept by Lady Sybil of Ankh-Morpork.  I gave them a collar and name plate, and since they're a tame dragon, I gave them a few chew toys, including a Rolly Ball just like Rex of "Snake Discovery," as can be seen here:

This was from a couple months ago; I was pretty unsure what I wanted to do with it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, particularly given that I think I only had three different colors of blue paint in bottles, and two of them were pretty similar.

Watch out this time of year for this fellow, he'll come riding in with the blizzards!
