So, I wasn't going to get the holiday paint set...
(because ZOMG so many paints... it's just... so many paints, I have. SO MANY!)

but then I was reading the descriptions again. and I Got Ideas. (this is never a good thing...). And I wanted the 25th anniversary Death anyways. sooo....

Bought a copy of the 1/10 "Portrait of a Young Tiefling" from Dark Sword.  Thought about getting the 28mm version as well, but passed so I would stay within my budget.  Imagine my surprise when I opened the box today and discovered they'd thrown in the 28mm figure as a bonus!          Really made my day.

Just got my CMON order in! Unfortunately, two of the paints were out of stock and stamped refunded on the invoice. Still quite a haul! 

 

Does anybody happen to know why a few of the bottles have black caps while all the others are white? The HD colors have black caps with yellow labels but I'm not sure about the normal white label MSP with black caps.

The 94** Bones HD paints have white labels with black caps but those look like the regular MSP numbers.  Maybe the caps broke and they replaced with with extras they had laying around?

I had a box turn up from Warlord over the weekend, including a box of Frostgrave barbarians to start a Dragon Rampant warband and Ariovistus the Germanic chieftain to lead them:

I also got a pack of 20 Roman scutum shields which will go on some classic WFB skeletons (the Nightmare Legion for those that know their old school Regiments of Renown).

While visiting my sister over the weekend, I stopped at the Book Barn. Well, technically I stopped at the Book Barn, The Book Barn Downtown, The Book Barn Midtown, and the 4th Book Barn. If you're ever in or passing through Niantic, CT (exit 72/74 off of I95 in CT) do yourself a favor, and stop by.

I also got a Book Barn mug (not pictured). What you see above was $22 worth of books.

At first I thought it was my January haul, but the first thing I found when I opened it was a Ghoulie bag...

WTF!

Back in October I ordered twice, in the hope of getting something neat in the bag. But one of the packages never arrived.

(Reaper sent me a replacement in December, sans the ghoulie bag. )

I guess someone finally got tired of climbing over a bag of mail someone were inconsiderate enough to leave where they usually walk to go and have a smoke or something...

I've already emailed Reaper about it. I don't really need yet another Grim Squeaker...

Contained a rock. just like the one package that did get through back in October...

The paints seems to have survived OK, too, so the package must have been stored inside somewhere.
