Gave in to my figmentia the other day, and now I have a copy of Warlord Games Waterloo set on its way to my house.  I'm a little concerned - I have added in excess of 500 minis for the year, and have painted a grand total of 1.  That is just not good math. . .

Totally depends on your House! With Figmentia, the objective isn't paint...

Got some new hobby supplies:-

Vallejo Model Colour Iraq Sand (it's a colour I need for a specific mini),

Mixed pack of micro sanding sticks (I'm trying to put more effort into mini prep),

Extra fine pack of sanding sticks (in case the micro ones are too small),

Tube of plastic putty (seeing if this is better at filling seam-lines),

Pin-point precision applicator (basically a pack of reusable syringes with different sized needles, so I can inject stuff directly into gaps),

Vallejo Matt Varnish (to replace the bottle that went gooey on me).

And no new minis, yay! (I've found a new online hobby store that specializes in military modelling, so there's nothing to tempt me into breaking my 'no new minis for a while' vow).

Is your plastic putty, Vallejo? If it is, it'll work but it takes multiple layers after sanding em down. I use Vallejo brand all the time on my plastic models. Well that & I do like Mr Hobby as well (a tad better but I like Vallejo's dropper bottle better then dipping a ratty brush into a pot & brushing it on.

No, this one is from Deluxe Materials.

I've tried the Vallejo one (and Games Workshops Liquid Greenstuff) and I found it really messy to use. This new one has a nice nozzle so hopefully I can make a neater job of it.

I just have to play Tetris with the boxes until I start on them.  I have a bunch of stuff that I am painting on now, but it was a sobering math moment.  I won't get around to putting any of my big historical projects together until early April, most likely.  (Waterloo, Liberty or Death, For King and Country, ACW Battlefield in a Box, 2 Bolt Action armies. . . . )

Pre-ordered a few of Tre's new minis. He's trying pre-order rather than KS, I think it's a good move and there's some nice new stuff.

Where?

Couldn't see any mention of pre-orders over on Red Box...

Todays load was a box containing a Citadel DRY paints set(10 x 12ml pots) and since I was shopping anyway, I added Nuln Oil and Agrax Earthshade lso.

While visiting my sister over the weekend, I stopped at the Book Barn. Well, technically I stopped at the Book Barn, The Book Barn Downtown, The Book Barn Midtown, and the 4th Book Barn. If you're ever in or passing through Niantic, CT (exit 72/74 off of I95 in CT) do yourself a favor, and stop by.

AAAAAARGHHH!!!!! I hate you!   You totally suck, lol - I've been hunting for Death Masks at the Book Barn and the Goodwill Stores since forever because I didn't want to pay full price for it, and now you show up from out of state on the one day the Book Barn actually has it... :zombie: :zombie: :zombie:

This is almost as irritating as the time Helltown came down to the Citadel for a Paint Day and bought the original Dragons Don't Share that I had been meaning to buy for about ten years...

Wanna know the worst part? I accidentally bought 2 copies!

Maybe you guys should play "Let's Make A Deal"?

The first 10 products on the "What's New" page at Red Box are what he is talking about....

Dilvish told me about it on the hangouts last night.

It seems it was being promoted on the book of face, which I am not on....

Dilvish said it is expected to deliver in March if I remember correctly....

Went in for Mother Hermione's Host.........Pre Order Bundle Deal...

Much to the lamentations of my wallet....

I've heard good things about that one as well. You should be good to go.

I've acquired a The Walking Dead addiction.

And I hadn't even seen an episode until last year.

I now have all the Mantic TWD minis released so far as well as the 3 comic compendiums released so far.

Also acquired a small plastic toy Mystery Machine which should scale well with Hasslefrees not-the Scooby gang minis

I don't usually post here because I usually only buy groceries and meds etc.. HOWEVER,   Today I found these and got them, new and unstarted, just opened.  here's the link so you can see them.

and I found that Wally World has the Air Hogs Millenium Falcons on clearance for $25 so I picked up one of those...

Let me know if you all think that $50 total was a good deal for the things in the pic. They are my grail kits and I have been looking for them since they came out.

It's funny, I was just thinking about getting Lord Soth's Charge. Where did you get them?

Just randomly out of idle curiosity, and not for nefarious reasons, but what's your exact street address, and do you have any sort of home security system? ::D:

Someone brought in all their mini's into the local game store to sell and while there were a few other kits I thought about getting, my wallet was trying to kill me for these three. So, I just got the 3.  Changing Hands Bookshoppe in Joplin, MO if you want to go by and see what's left.  Some nice single old Dark Heaven green backed mini's that were 3 for $10 and then the boxes and I think there may have even been some terrain boxes.  All old like from the 80's-90's.  I started getting into gaming then so I had some of them ore I might have went crazier..
