Received my Pantheon of Chaos Kickstarter minis today.

Such delightfully weird minis I'm a little disappointed I didn't get more.

I supported it, but only pledged for one champion.

Rather curious when it will ship.

Have you checked to see if they've sent you a message through Kickstarter? You should be getting one to let you know how much postage you owe.

ah..thx I will check that.

EDIT: No messages...I asked about it now. Lets see what happens

Received my RPE Miniatures Dwarf Veteran Warband.  Minis are very nice.  Got one that I didn't expect, but did not get one that I DID expect.  I am very happy with the miniatures, but I want the one I ordered, so I'll figure something out with them.

Sad acquirement today.

The cabinet only, not the stuff in it. Yes, antique.

Why sad? Acquired from my old friend, who owned Great Hall Games which recently closed. His father, an awesome guy, passed away just before Christmas. I've known them over 35 years.

At least this one stays "in the family."

 Found:

A pair of vintage red metal Eagle gasoline cans - a 5-gallon and a 1-gallon...

They're probably from sometime around the '70's or maybe even a bit earlier. Looks like they might be worth about $20-30 each on eBay.

We also found an old industrial drill press that still works (although the levers are rusted frozen) and a trio of old wicker chairs that are probably at least thirty years old as well.

We've been cleaning up the yard at my father's girlfriend's house, and they were under the enclosed porch. Her husband passed away probably more than twelve or fifteen years ago by now, and the space under the porch and the tiny basement of the house are both filled with his old stuff.

(There are probably more than a dozen antique fishing rods under the porch that we'll need to inspect and maybe clean up to see if they're still usable... At the very least, the cork handles would need to be replaced. There's also a whole stack of fishing tackle boxes full of lures and things.)

Well, last week I got a cold! Bleh.

From Kickstarter, I've gotten the DCC 4th printing kickstarter goodies - A huge rulebook and almost a dozen adventures arrived, with some dice and a dice bag (also stretch goals) on the way - they split shipping so they could take advantage of the media rate. It's pretty impressive.

I also recently got my Writers Block tarot cards - I'm fond of picking up odd Tarot decks on Kickstarter - but I'm bemused by the lack of a deck box - it's just the cards in plastic shrinkwrap! I need to find a box for it.

Having started using my old laptop for work at my new job, I found it necessary to order new memory for it, which also arrived and got installed - going from 4GB to 8GB is a marvelous jump in power. Thank goodness!

That's exciting!! I'm still waiting on mine...

Went to Drinking and Dragons IV at the Seehund German Pub and Restaurant last night.  In addition to a great time, I acquired a Seehund pint glass and beer stein.

My Shadowrun mage survived the one shot and and even made it the whole game without taking any drain!

Nice.  I have a buddy who runs a mage and has yet to avoid taking drain ... ever.  He now goes by the runner name, Fizzle Dud Thump, for what happens most of the time.  Doesn't get hired much.  LOL

Aquired food poisoning; stupid salad, pizza would never betray me like that.

I also got my DCC kickstarter package. That's a lot of stuff for the cost. The bookmark character "sheet" is my favorite.

Maybe mine will be waiting for me today...

I just hate it when work projects become fun projects... at least for a time.

Our Nikon KeyMission 360 camera finally came in today.  Of course, it showed as "On Truck" before Inauguration Day, but it has been going through channels at the University for this long.  Anywho, I got to plug it in and charge batteries today... because charging camera batteries THROUGH the camera is optimal...  :zombie:

Maybe, in time, they'll have a good charger for it.

Regardless, I get to go out and capture footage later this afternoon!  Away from the desk.  Away from the phone.  Away from the questions and problems.  Sunshine and solitude and photography... AWESOME!

Edit: Oh... and why did we get one of these? Proof of concept on doing some VR work, which will cost thousands of dollars.  This way we can at least show what is potential for less than $600.  And then we move on into platforms that we want to work with and beginning to collect denser point clouds that we can translate into full VR.  Our library has a HTC Vive with two full rooms and a few Occulus Rift desks.  We're hoping to get a 'satelite' setup going for our projects, but a lot of people need visualization.  So I get to bridge the gap!  Yay!
