On topic: today I acquired exercise!

 

I fired up Pokemon Go for the first time in months, which prompted me to walk to a friend's house rather than drive. I was rewarded for my efforts by one of my 2km eggs hatching, which gave me my first Magikarp! 

 

It has max stats.

 

I made him my walking buddy and named him Mr. Fish.

Picked up my cup on the way to work. :-)

 

Then, as I was busy pretending to work, a DHL driver called and asked if I was at the office... 

(He knows better than to attempt a home delivery on my address. Also it's a shorter drive to my office). 

That package contained a Lomography LomoKino camera (takes short 'films' of up to 144 pictures on normal 135 film)

 

Then I got a text about another package waiting for me at the local post office, and this one contained KoW Balefire Katapult, and KoW The Green LAdy.

 

And of course, when I got home I found another collection notice for something...  

Which I think might be Kingdom Death: Savior 40years.

Managed to have a few minutes to hit up the game stores in the Big City, got these:

 

 

-Citadel Praxeti White

-Citadel Longbeard Grey

-Warpaints Hemp Rope

-Warmachine Iron Fang Pikemen (1/2 off)

Nolzur's Human Ranger (One of the only figures that didn't have their details completely obscured)

-Reaper Red Raven (so sharp!)

-Reaper Harrow (which was priced the same as a Bones mini for some reason)

-Citadel Paint Pad ( Will experiment with it)

 

Had to go to my friend's store to help him out, his business is in a lot of trouble right now. Even has a GoFundMe page to tryto help him out, I hope he can pull through. I remember him from when he was just a worker there, and I used to work with his wife as well.

 

And of course, I couldn't forget my FLGS:

 

 

Two GameMastery map packs that were on consignment, and I decided to pick up the X-wing Miniatures game. That last one may have been a mistake, but playing Furball is soo much fun.

I'm hoping this will be sufficient motivation for me to take more walks. I find exercise difficult to do if it doesn't have a a strong goal besides simply "getting healthier" (such as walking to a destination to do something, or learning self defense, or in this case evolving a Magikarp lol)

@Pezler the Polychromatic hmmm Hemp rope. That color might be useful for me!

 

Acquired today! 3 prepainted minis. Sword & Shackles rat swarm (love this one), a Pathfinder farmer & "hidden" large figure. Even thou all 3 are in my games, the hidden one kinda gives away the surprise for those that are on here & are gonna be in my games.

 

In the process: Ordered the 11 bottle set of Warpaint washes. I was gonna just get a pot of Strong quickwash with all the figures & items I'm painting but figured I think the colored washes would be better for me. Also ordered part 2 of my ReaperCon costume.

 

Also these came on Monday. Oddly the same day I got my yellow Oregon Ducks "O" shirt. So close!! Seats are on the 10 yardline near the field, behind the home team (Yeah!) My wife hated that but since shes a Cornhuskers fan, ehhh she can live with it!!

My partner found a specimen jar last night. It was in someone's recycling.

 

It looks like this. But the brain was missing. In fact it was completely empty.

Fate of the Elder Gods (and expansion) arrived on Tuesday but just opened it up last night. The first picture is the box art. The second is the art on the BACK of the board. It's got beautiful art everywhere. I can't wait to actually play it.

From last week: Mystic Vale board game by AEG. 2-4 players.  You are druids trying to cleanse your lands of corruption.  Has a cool mechanic where you buy advancements to improve the cards in your deck; the advancements are clear overlays.

 

Played with Daughter Dilvish last night.  She kicked my elf.  There is a tourneyment for if starting on the 27th at my FLGS.  Do I should get practicing I guess.
