Meh, it's a brain in a jar of tea-colored preservative liquid. The brain is beige, the dura mater layers removed, the surface veins peeled off. The surface doesn't look completely smooth if you look closely. The folds of the brain are deeply shadowed. The cerebellum is missing, the brain stem is either missing or removed.

 

I've only ever seen fresh brains (with fresh veins) so I have no idea if the pic is of a real brain or of a mockup. It was found by mining google images.

Picked up a copy of the "Maze of Games" that arrived in the mail last night, fun!

 

Also ordered a few things on Amazon that should get here tomorrow - Parts 1 and 2 of the Vision of Escaflowne, Part 1 of Season 1 of Sailor Moon (for my daughter), and two more volumes of Tales of Beanworld.

Finally got my Reaper package from the post office. It contained a lot of paint and the Elanter mini. It does however have a very bent spear and bow. I'm not sure if it's fixable or not.

Try to bend it back into position very gently, but firmly. 

 

If you can't fix it and it breaks, contact [email protected] and explain what happened (no pics) and they will take care of it for you. Great customer service.

Gencon purchases so far: 5 Hirst Arts molds (2 sewer, 2 Egyptian wall, and one chipped stone floor), Boss Monster card game and expansion, clear green dice, miniature  case, and my wife bought a new game called Unearth. That last one was selling faster than they could stock it.

 A) Depends on what you want them for... If you're gaming with them, they could probably use a wash and another highlight.

B) Possibly - they're a different material than the Bones plastic, so if you adjust their position they may well stay like that... (Bones are generally just able to be put back into their original casting position after they've gotten bent, rather than actually being repositioned).

I suppose I could go around randomly whacking things with my phone, but I just don't think it will be the same. Also my phone will probably protest.

 

...And now I want to acquire a Magikarp stuffed animal so I can boff people with it.
