RomulanCmdr
Okay, so I am going to G-Fest next month and wanted to work on a diorama for it. What Id like to do is Monster island - my problem I cant find Godzilla minis to paint. There are large old model replicas that are $$$ level in price and some generic 6 figure already painted set. So that I figure leaves me with the choice of either mod'ing a figure or sculpting it. Anyone have some near like suggestions for mod'ing a Godzilla or King Ghidorah? Pingo
How large a Godzilla (or Ghidorah) are you looking for?
ub3r_n3rd
Okay, maybe this will help you out RC - I found this little guy that you might be able to use for your Godzilla, not very expensive either. He's already painted, but he might be nice for your purposes with dimensons of: 9" tall x 6" wide at base x 7" deep (including tail). I'm not sure if the gnomes are removable or not, but if not you could probably cut them out as he's made of resin.
redambrosia
Oh, well one of the recent Godzilla toys from the movie would actually work for scaling to tabletop play. He's maybe 14 inches tall.... or 16, something like that. Not 18 I don't think.
Mattnuke
You might be able to get some of the Monsterpocalypse figures for cheap. I found some earlier this year at a Five Below store and bought the lot of them.

RomulanCmdr
Thanks Guys, these give me some good ideas. I ended up not entering this year at G-Fest but got to see what was there. Molding small is the challenge so I might just aim for the 10-12 inch size -
