Stern Kestrelmann
Hey, I know this topic has popped up from time to time in the past, but I just wanted to ask again. What's a simple sequence for a good red head? I remember somebody once telling me that you could use copper as a subtle highlight? SK [/color] What I like to do is similar to this tutorial: http://www.warpaintstudio.homestead.com/redhair.html Sometimes I have added a final highlight with metallic copper (very small areas) or added alittle to my mixture. Enchantra
I basecoat in a reddish brown, then highlight with a hint of coppery red, and a little bit of reddish orange here and there.
coogle
A good reddish brown is aged red-brick as a base coat.
Hells_Clown
Base coat with GW Elf Flesh (or equivalent) then wash with GW Flesh Wash. Gives a nice red/blond look.
